Objective: This research discusses whether there are statistical differences about the joint detection of lung tumor markers and EGFR in plasma can improve the diagnostic rate and monitoring capability for NSCLC or not, which is expected to has a great contribution for improving the diagnostic rate and monitoring capability for NSCLC.Methods: 1 Collecting 53 chest surgery newly diagnosed patients cases form the second clinical medical college of Lanzhou University during 2015.7-2015.12,including 30 cases of lung cancer, 23 cases of lung benign diseases and 25 cases health people from the second clinical medical college of Lanzhou University physical examination center; 2 collecting 70 cases re-visiting patients of non-small cell lung cancer, including 29 cases complete remission(CR) that is stable, 24 cases partial remission(SD/PR) and 17 cases belong to progressive disease(PD). All of the samples were sent to clinical laboratory to quantitatively detect plasma lung tumor markers(carcino-embryonic antigen(CEA), cytokeratin 19 fragment(CYFRA21-1),neurone specific enolase(NSE)) in peripheral blood by immunofluorescence method;and then, all of the samples were used to be quantitatively detect EGFR in plasma by enzyme-linked immune sorbent assay(ELISA) method in the laboratory. Statistical method was used to analyze and compare the meaning of tumor markers and tumor markers with EGFR detection for the diagnosis and illness monitoring of lung cancer. Results: 1 Compare to health people group and lung benign disease group, the expression level for serum EGFR, CEA, NSE and CYFRA21-1 of lung cancer group are higher(P<0.01), in addition, the later clinical staging of lung cancer is, the higher expression level is; furthermore, there are no statistical differences for all of the indexes between lung benign disease group and health people group; the CEA of adenocarcinoma is obviously higher than squamous carcinoma, the CYFRA21-1 of squamous carcinoma is obviously higher than adenocarcinoma, the EGFR ofadenocarcinoma is higher than squamous carcinoma; the joint detection of EGFR and TMs can improve sensibility, specificity and accuracy for the diagnosis of lung cancer, moreover, the corresponding value is 93.1%、97.9%、96.1% respectively. 2 The expression level for serum EGFR, CEA, NSE and CYFRA21-1 concentration of CR group, SD/PR group and PD group gradually increase, there is statistical significance for the differences among all of the groups(P<0.01); the joint detection of EGFR and TMs can improve sensibility, specificity and accuracy for the monitoring of lung cancer, in addition, the corresponding value can reach 90.2% 、 93.1% 、 91.4%respectively.Conclusions: The joint detection of lung tumor markers and EGFR in plasma can improve the ability of diagnosis and illness monitoring for NSCLC.
