Objective: To summarize and analyze the related symptoms of postmenopausal women, to observe the use of menopausal hormone therapy(MHT) control of female menopausal symptoms and effect on blood pressure, blood lipid, bone mineral density and Carotid intima-media thickness. To study the effect of MHT on improving the level of blood lipid metabolism, improving the micro environment of vagina, preventing osteoporosis and improving the quality of life.Methods: 262 cases were from the Second Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University gynecological menopause clinic from January 2014 to August 2015, the selected object is in postmenopausal women. To understand the disease through history, and carry out necessary auxiliary examination, analysis of related symptoms in postmenopausal women,Patients with MHT indications, no contraindication, chose MHT after Inform patients of MHT advantages and disadvantages. According to the condition of patients, giving individual hormone treatment, continuous use for 6 months,Statistics before treatment and first, third, 6th month of endometrial thickness, Kupperman score,Statistics before treatment and 6 months of Blood pressure,BMI,FSH,E2,TC,TG,LDL,HDL,BMD,CIMT, vaginal health score, the SF-36 quality of life score, for Comparative analysis. Safety assessment was compared with the changes of endometrial thickness in patients before and after treatment, follow up of breast color Doppler ultrasound, and the occurrence of adverse reactions during treatment and the treatment methods and results were recorded.Results:1. Postmenopausal women with menopausal symptoms varied, Frequency of occurrence is fatigue(58.40%, 153/262), sexual problems(57.25%, 150/262) and mood disorders(54.96%, 144/262), musculoskeletal pain(54.58%, 143/262), hot flashes sweating(53.44%, 140/262), sleep obstacles(51.15%, 134/262).2. Postmenopausal women’s weight, BMI, TC, TG and CIMT decreased slightly after using MHT, BMD of lumbar vertebra increased slightly,but the difference was not statistically significant; P>0.05, blood pressure, Kupperman score, FSH, LDL, decreased significantly(P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant; E2, HDL, vaginal health score,SF-36 quality of life score increased significantly,BMD of Femoral neck increased slightly,(P<0.05), with statistical significance the difference.3. Safety evaluation and adverse reactions before and after treatment, the endometrial thickening has a slight trend, but P>0.05, the difference was not statistically significant. There was no significant change in color Doppler ultrasound before and after treatment. In the course of treatment occurred in 28 cases(10.68%, 28/262) breast pain, 42 cases(16.03%, 42/262) in patients with vaginal bleeding after treatment, the treatment continues, these adverse reactions were relieved, no other special adverse reactions.Conclusions: In postmenopausal women, estrogen levels are at low levels, the emergence of various menopausal symptoms, the symptoms of complexity leads to misdiagnosis. The symptoms of postmenopausal women were different from that of menopausal symptoms, To promote the change of the attention points of menopausal symptoms in clinical work. The use of MHT can relieve menopause related symptoms, improving lipid metabolism level to a certain extent, improving the vaginal micro environment, preventing osteoporosis, improve the quality of life, improve the health level in postmenopausal women.
