ObjectiveTo investigate the prevalence of female urinary incontinence(UI) and pelvic organ prolapse(POP) and find the related factors of female pelvic floor disorders(FPFD) in Yuedong. MethodsA cluster sampling survey was performed on female in Yuedong. ResultsThe number of questionnaire issued was 5838, and valid questionnaire was 5151(88.58%). The overall prevalence of UI was 26.23% in Yuedong, among which the prevalence of stress urinary incontinence(SUI), urge urinary incontinence(UUI), overflowing urinary incontinence(OUI), mixed urinary incontinence(MUI), complete urinary incontinence and other kind of urinary incontinence were 16.70%, 4.96 %, 0.56%, 1.94%, 0.25%,1.22% respectively. The composition ratios of different types of UI were 63.66%, 21.17%, 2.15%, 7.40%, 0.96%, 5.62% respectively. Results of multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that the age, constipation, asthma, hypertension, gynecological surgery, delivery frequency and postpartum physical labor recovery time were related factors of UI. In the survey, 80.61% of UI were mild incontinence. The increase in the quantity and frequency of fluid loss had a negative effect on the scores of life quality. Besides, the prevalence of pelvic organ prolapse(POP) was 7.82%, with age, constipation, asthma, hypertension, gynecological surgery and delivery frequency as the related factors. The prevalence of UI in POP patients was 72.70%, and there was a correlation between UI and POP with a correlation coefficient of 0.294. ConclusionsThe prevalence of FPFD which is mainly consisted of UI and POP in Yuedong was relatively higher. The age, constipation, hypertension, gynecological surgery, delivery frequency and postpartum physical labor recovery time were related factors of UI. Meanwhile, the age, constipation, asthma, hypertension, gynecological surgery, delivery frequency were related factors of POP. POP patients were often accompanied by UI. In summary, positive and effective measures should be taken according to the related factors to improve the health conditions and quality of life of women in Yuedong. |
