Objective:The aim of this research is to explore the distribution of CYP2C19 gene-related metabolism type in patients who were diagnosed with Chest Obstruction and the chosen TCM syndrome is Phlegm blocking heart syndrome and Yin cold freeze syndrome. Then we explore the relationship between these two TCM syndromes and gene-related metabolism type. Methods:From May 2105 to January 2016, We divided the patients who stayed in cardiovascular ward of Jiangsu Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine into eight different TCM syndromes, and totally 169 patients who conform to the standard of diagnosis.During their treatment,we measured the gene type of CYP2C19 and other laboratory index, then write down the basic information results of gene type and medical history of patients in table. When the research was finished, use SPSS to analyze the data, then we can find the distribution of CYP2C19 gene-related Metabolism type and the relationship between these two TCM syndromes and CYP2C19 gene-related metabolism type. Results:The distribution result of CYP2C19 gene-related Metabolism type in 169 patients:extensive metabolism type 68 cases(40.2%)、secondary metabolism type 79 cases(46.8%)、poor metabolism type 22 cases(13%).The cases of extensive metabolism type is 44.1% among patients with Phlegm blocking heart syndrome, and 19.2% among Yin cold freeze syndrome, the difference between them has statistical significance(P=0.018<0.05),The extensive metabolism type is more likely to be observed in Phlegm blocking heart syndrome; The secondary metabolism type is 42.7% in Phlegm blocking heart syndrome, and 69.2% in Yin cold freeze syndrome, the difference between them has statistical significance(P=0.012<0.05),The secondary metabolism type is more likely to be observed in Yin cold freeze syndrome. Conclusion:The extensive metabolism type and the secondary metabolism type are the most common types in CYP2C19 gene-related metabolism types. The relationship between this two TCM syndromes and CYP2C19 gene-related metabolism type is real exist, the extensive metabolism type is more likely to be observed in Phlegm blocking heart syndrome, and the secondary metabolism type in Yin cold freeze syndrome. The reason inside still needs more research.
