Objective:Research the acupuncture treatment of regulating the mind and tonifying the spleen on diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome patients’ anxiety symptoms and the influence of the change of serum BDNF levels, evaluate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome, degree of anxiety symptoms improvement, and the correlation of IBS patients with anxiety symptoms and BDNF.Methods:Collect met inclusion and exclusion criteria of 20 patients with IBS-D, fill in basic information, general situation, IBS symptoms severity score (IBS-SSS) and self-evaluation of anxiety scale (SAS),15 cases and healthy controls. Using ELISA method to detect healthy controls and patients with IBS-D before and after treatment, serum levels of BDNF were observed before and after treatment of the change of clinical symptom and the anxiety level of improvement.Results:1. The acupuncture treatment of regulating the mind and tonifying the spleen can significantly relieve clinical symptoms of diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome patients (P<0.05), indicating that acupuncture can reduce the patient’s abdominal pain, abdominal discomfort symptoms, improve defecation in patients with satisfaction.2. The acupuncture treatment of regulating the mind and tonifying the spleen can significantly relieve diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome in patients with anxiety symptoms (P<0.05)3. Diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome patients’ serum BDNF levels significantly lower than that of healthy controls serum BDNF levels (P<0.05); Accept the acupuncture treatment of regulating the mind and tonifying the spleen can decline in serum BDNF expression, also statistical significance (P< 0.05).4. Diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome patients’ IBS-SSS integral and its degree of anxiety was positively correlation (r=0.655,P<0.05), including the patient’s level of anxiety in the patients with abdominal pain days and there was a positive correlation (r=0.679,P<0.05).Conclusion:1. The acupuncture treatment of regulating the mind and tonifying the spleen can significantly relieve diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome in patients with clinical symptoms and anxiety symptoms.2. Diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome patients’ serum BDNF levels fell significantly compared with healthy controls, and after the adjustable acupuncture treatment of regulating the mind and tonifying the spleen of BDNF levels drop, there was significant difference.
