ObjectiveThis paper describes the development, etiology, pathology, manifestation, diagnosis and treatment of Intracranial PialArteriovenous Fistulae.MethodThe history, feature, laboratory and image, treatment and prognosis were observed and obtained by the way of case analysis and literature review.ResultsThe result showed:Casel, who had pAVF in left temporal lobe with one branch of left cerebral middle artery as the feeding artery, thinking of caused by transient venous hypertension secondary to mild trauma, or recanalization of asymptomicphlebothrombosis, manifested as paroxysmal left limbs disability. And there was no symptoms any more weith successful endovascular treatment. In Case 2, DSA showed right occipitotemporalpAVF with one branch of right cerebral middle artery as the feeding artery, thinking of caused by used brain concussion, manifested as headache. And there was still some left after endovascular treatment, without any complications or more headache. The patient didn’t accept any more DSA.ConclusionThe author concludes that pAVF is already dependent from intracranial arteriovenous deformity, the morbidity of which is pretty low. We have already had some common conclusions of its pathology, etiology and manifestation, and treatments for pAVF are surgery and endovascular methods, the later comes first.
