Objective:The aim of this study was explored to the relationships of TCM syndromes, Type Carbonic anhydrase Ⅱ (CAⅡ) and Nuclear Factor of Activated T cell (NFAT2) in male senile osteoporosis, to help the diagnosis and differentiation of TCM syndromes in senile osteoporosis. Methods:According to the case inclusion criteria, patients came from the outpatient and the inpatient department of Rehabilitation, Geriatrics and Orthopaedics of Zhongshan hospital, Xiamen, were selected from March 2015 to October 2015. They were diagnosed senile osteoporosis by the bone mineral density (BMD) on anterior posterior position lumbar 2-4 vertebra body which was measured by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry. According to the principles of the differentiation of syndromes in traditional Chinese medicine, they were divided into three syndrome types. The variable inherent relationship of CAⅡ, NFAT2 and different TCM syndrome types were analyzed with analysis of variance. The data was processed by the SPSS 21.0.Results:1. BMD of femoral in male senile osteoporosis was lower than the normal group (P<0.01)2. Compared with the deficiency of kidney yang syndrome group, BMD of lumbar 2-4 vertebra was statistically higher than the blood stasis with qi stagnation syndrome group and deficiency of kidney yin syndrome group (P<0.01 respectively)3. β-crosslaps and P1NP in the blood stasis with qi stagnation syndrome group were higher than any other groups (P<0.05),there was no significant different between deficiency of kidney yang syndrome group and deficiency of kidney yin syndrome group in P1NP4. Serum of CAⅡmRNA expression in qi stagnation syndrome group were higher than deficiency of kidney yang syndrome group, deficiency of kidney yin syndrome group, the differences were significiant (P<0.01 respectively), Serum of NFAT2mRNA expression in deficiency of kidney yin syndrome group were higher than other groups, the differences were significiant (P<0.01 respectively)Conclusion:The serum CAⅡmRNA can be used as objective reference index in blood stasis with qi stagnation syndrome distinction of deficiency of kidney yang syndrome and deficiency of kidney yin syndrome of male senile osteoporosis. The serum NFAT2 can be used as objective reference index in blood stasis with deficiency of kidney yin syndrome distinction of deficiency of kidney yang syndrome and qi stagnation syndrome of male senile osteoporosis. |
