Objective:To observe the efficacy of the two different proportionof Dangguibuxu e decoction to the improvement of visual acuity, ocular fundus,TCM syndrome and eval uate the clinical efficacy and safety of drug in patients with non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy(NPDR) of the blood deficiency and collaterals resistance type. Methods:A randomized open drug control methods. A total of 137 case NPDR of blood deficiency and collaterals resistance type come from the sendocrinology outpa tient and inpatients of first affiliated hospital ofXiamen University. They are randomly di vided into control groups (49 cases), TCM Group 1 (44 cases) and TCM Group 2(44 cases), control groups received calcium capsules Dobesilate(0.5g tid), TCM Group 1 received the old proportion of Dangguibuxue decoction (10ml tid), and the TCM Grou p 2 accepted the new proportion of Dangguibuxue decoction (10ml tid).In the meanti me, all subjects were given the lifestyle intervention, hypoglycemic, antihypertensive a nd lipid-lowering therapyduring the test. And we investigate the differences of visual a cuity, ocular fundus, TCM syndrome, blood sugar and other therapeutic indexes betwee n the three groups before and after the test. And we evaluate the safety of drugs by assessing the changes in blood, liver function, kidney function and other safety indexe s of subjects.Results:1)After 12 weeks of treatment, three groups of TCM symptom scores we re significantly decreased(P<0.05), the total effective rate of control group was 40.9%, TCM Group 1 was 81% and TCM Group 2 was 75.6%.Traditional Chinese medicine group is superior to western medicine, the differenc was statistically significant(P<0.0 5). The difference between two different proportion of Dangguibuxue decoction didn’t have statistically significant effect (P>0.05).2) After 12 weeks of treatment, combined with visual acuity and fundu sstatistica 1 total effect, The total effective rate of group control group was 42.8%, TCM Group lwas 46.3% and TCM groups2was 43.2%. The difference was not statistically signific ant effect (P>0.05). In terms of improve vision, The total effective rate of control gr oup was 54.6%, TCM Group lwas 54.6% and TCM Group 2 was 53.7%. The differ ence was not statistically significant effect (P>0.05).Interms of improving the fundus, The total effective rate of control group was 50%, TCM Group 1was 42.8% and TC M Group 2 was 48.8%. The difference was not statistically significant effect (P>0.0 5).3) Before and after treatment, blood routine, liver function, kidney function and otherkey indicators(WBC, NE, ALT,AST,BUN, CRE, UA)are controlled within the nor mal range. There were nosignificant differences between groups. Serious adverse event s did not occur during the test groups.Conclusion:1)Dangguibuxue decoction Can improve the TCM syndrome NPDR of the blood deficiency and collaterals resistance type, more effective than calciumdobesilate, and the curative effect is the same between the twodifferentproportion ofDangguibuxue decoction.2) Both of the twodifferent proportion of angguibuxue decoction can improve vision, improve capillary hemangioma, hemorrhage, exudation retinopathy in patients whith NPDR of the blood deficiency and collaterals resistance type, the efficacy was no significant difference between them.3)Dangguibuxue decoction treatment NPDR of the blood deficiency and collaterals resistancetype is effective and safety.
