ObjectiveTemporomandibular joint disorder syndrome is also called temporomandibular dysfunction disease(TMD), and TMD is a common and frequently occurring disease in the Department of Stomatology. The disease is more common in young people and it is recurrent, prolonged course and it is hard to heal. Seriously affect the chewing function and language barriers. It made psychological damage to patients and the desease affect the normal life of patients seriously. It is an important task for modern medical research to explore the pathogenesis of temporomandibular joint disorder syndrome and to look for an effective treatment. Establish the animal model by pulling out the right maxillary molars of rats. To observe the effect on inflammatory factors of IL-1β and TNF-α in the temporomandibular joint of the rats. To explore the anti inflammatory mechanism of the treatment of Electroacupuncture on TMD from the cellular and molecular level. To provide scientific theoretical basis for the treatment of TMD by electro acupuncture therapy.MetodA total of 30 SD rats of SPF grade were randomly divided into three groups (electro acupuncture treatment group, blank control group, model group), and each group has ten rats equally. To establish a rat model of TMD by pulling out the right maxillary molars and causing unilateral chew. The electroacupuncture group carry on the electro acupuncture therapy after 2 weeks. Electroacupuncture the needle in the points of Taiyang and Xiaguan and the treatment time was two weeks. The model group and blank group rats need to grip them every day for 5 minutes. Blood samples were collected from different groups of rats and the serum was extracted by ELISA., To detecte the content of TNF a and IL-1β. After the rats were killed, the temporomandibular joint and related tissues were extracted. The supernatant was extracted by ELISA to detect the levels of the TNF α and IL-1β in each group. Analyze the relationship of these data by using statistical methods of SPSS18.0.ResultsCompared with the blank control group, the content of IL-1β and TNF-α in model group were signifieantly increased (p<0.05);Compared with the model group, the content of IL-1β and TNF-α in electro acupuncture treatment group were signifieantly increased(p<0.05). Electroacupuncture treatment can significantly reduce the content of inflammatory factors in the temporomandibular joint of rats. The difference was statistically significant (p<0.05)。Conclusions1. The electro acupuncture treatment can effectively reduce the expression level of IL-1β and TNF-α in rats’ serum, so as to improve the expression level of anti inflammatory factors of the serum.2. Electro acupuncture can regulate the inflammatory response associated with TMD. TMD could be management seizure control effectively by inhibiting the inflammatory respons, and then to suppress the disease process of TMD.3. Electro acupuncture can significantly inhibit the index of temporomandibular arthritis in rat model, It has a certain anti-inflammatory and detumescence analgesic effect, to achieve the purpose of treatment. |
