Objectives:1.To understand the effects of expression on GFAP、NCAM and GABA receptor in the rat hippocampus after exposure to 1800 MHz radio frequency field.2.To investigate the power density window of 1800 MHZ electromagnetic field.Methods:14 SD rats at age of three week-old, male and female half, were randomly divided into exposure group and control group(7 rats every group, male and female’s numbers are deffirent) after one week for environmental adaptation.Seven group of animals are conducted by this. Rats in exposure group with 1800 MHZ electromagnetic wave in the 21 days and 12 hours a day of continuous exposure. Power density value is 0.1 mW/cm2、0.3mW/cm2、0.5mW/cm2、0.7mW/cm2、0.9 mW/cm2、1.0mW/cm2 and 1.2mW/cm2.At the same time, exposure group were set up sham-control as control group. After the exposure, using immunohistochemical method respectively to dye of GFAP, NCAM and GABA receptor, and then using image analysis system to determine the expression in the area of CA1, CA3 and DG in rat hippocampus.Results:1.The factor of electromagnetic radiation:GFAP:Exposed on the density of 1.0mW/cm2 by electromagnetic waves, the expression of GFAP in rat hippocampus is deffirence,appearing up-regulation.On the density of 0.3mW/cm2 and 0.5mW/cm2,the expression of GFAP in the area of CA1 and DG is deffirence,appearing reduce and up-regulation.But the expression in CA3 has no statistically significant.On the density of 0.1 mW/cm2、0.7mW/cm2、0.9mW/cm2 and has no statistically significant.NCAM:Exposed on the above seven power density of electromagnetic waves,the expression of NCAM in the area of hippocampus has no statistically significant. GAB A receptor:On the density of 0.1 mW/cm2、0.3mW/cm2、0.5mW/cm2、0.7mW/cm2、0.9mW/cm2 and 1.0mW/cm2 of electromagnetic exposure, the expression of GABA receptor in rat hippocampal has no statistical significance. On the density of 1.2mW/cm2,the expression in the area of CA3 is deffirence,appearing up-regulationBut which in CA1 and DG has no statistically significant.2.The factor of sex difference:GFAP:On the density of 0.3mW/cm2,the expression in rat hippocampus is deffirence,appearing reduce.Under the other density of electromagnetic exposure,there has no statistically significantNCAM.On the density of 1.0mW/cm2,the expression in the area of CA3 is deffirence, appearing reduce. Under the other density of electromagnetic exposure,there has no statistically significant. GABA receptor:Exposed on the above seven power density by electromagnetic waves,the expression of GABA receptor in rat hippocampus has no statistically significant.Conclusions:1. Under the condition of this experiment, there is a certain degree of influence on expression of GFAP and GABA receptor in rat hippocampus after exposure to 1800 MHz radio frequency field.2. Under the condition of this experiment, we don’t think of the factor of sex difference can influence the expression of GFAP^ NCAM and GABA receptor in rat hippocampus.3. Under the condition of this experiment, we don’t think of 0.5mW/cm2 is’t the power density window of 1800 MHz radio frequency field.
