Object:Based on the dialectics, syndrome element was carried out on the collection of cases studies; to explore the pathogenesis change of advanced pancreatic cancer and the distribution characteristics of syndrome types of traditional Chinese medicine, deepen the understanding of pathogenesis of advanced pancreatic cancer and to direct clinical therapy.Methods:In this study, collection 198 cases of hospitalized cases of the advanced pancreatic cancer patients in Jiangsu province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2010 September and 2015 in September, making the inclusion and exclusion criteria, according to the syndrome differentiation system (about diagnostic criteria of syndrome elements and the scale of distinguishing syndrome elements through syndrome) by professor ZHU Wen-feng,to extract syndrome elements, to describe the syndrome elements of disease location and nature in the frequency and percentage, to summarize composite types of the syndrome, to analysis the pathogenesis change and the characteristics of syndromes types distribution of advanced pancreatic cancer.Results:The main syndrome elements of disease location of 66 cases mid pancreatic cancer known as the liver, gallbladder, spleen, lung, stomach; The main syndrome elements of disease nature were cancerous toxic, dampness, heat, qi deficiency, qi stagnation and blood stasis, phlegm and yin deficiency. The syndrome element of cancerous toxic is throughout the whole process of the disease.The main syndrome elements of disease location of pancreatic cancer in late 132 known as the spleen, liver, lung, gallbladder, kidneystomach, heart, mind/brain; The main syndrome elements of disease nature were cancerous toxic, qi deficiency, dampness, blood stasis, and qi stagnation, heat, yin deficiency, phlegm, retained fluid, yang deficiency, blood deficiency. Among them, the syndrome elements of disease location of spleen and liver and the disease nature of qi deficiency are higher in frequency.The common composite types of syndrome of 66 cases mid pancreatic cancer:hot and wet toxin gather liver and gallbladder syndrome, spleen deficiency hot and humid toxic stasis syndrome, phlegm and stasis toxic knot spleen and lung syndrome, spleen deficiency phlegm wet toxic knot syndrome, liver gloomy toxic stasis and qi stagnation syndrome, phlegm and toxic accumulate middle energizer, liver and stomach yin deficiency toxic stasis syndrome.The common composite types of syndrome in late pancreatic cancer:spleen deficiency hot and humid toxic stasis syndrome, phlegm and stasis toxic damage qi and blood syndrome, heart and kidney yang deficiency water toxic syndrome, hot and wet toxin gather liver and gallbladder syndrome, turbidity toxic beclouding the mind syndrome, spleen deficiency phlegm wet toxic knot syndrome, liver and stomach yin deficiency toxic stasis syndrome, phlegm and toxic accumulate middle energizer, liver gloomy toxic stasis and qi stagnation syndrome.Conclusions:Cancerous toxic is throughout the whole process of the disease, it combines with dampness, heat, phlegm, stasis and retained fluid etc. And then produces composite change of disease pathogenesis. The mid pancreatic cancer is given priority to concrete evil, the late is given priority to qi deficiency. Its pathogenesis evolution is as follows:the positive imaginary evil strong, cancerous toxic produced, combines with dampness、hot、stasis and toxic, then generate lumps, consumpt qi and blood, eventually, qi and blood wither out,Yin and Yang deviate and extinct.
