ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of adenomyosis on IVF/ICSI treatment outcome.Methods226 patients with adenommyosis who underwent IVF-ET treatment between January 2010 and March 2015 in Women’s Hospital,School of Medicine,Zhejiang University were enrolled as case group,226 infecund patients who underwent IVF-ET at the same time because of fallopian tube factor were enrolled as control group.Analyse the clinical and follow-up data, compare the basic information, controlled ovarian stimulation information and IVF-ET outcome such as miscarriage rate and delivery rate between two groups.According to the uterine size evaluate by ultrasound, patients with adenomyosis were divided into two groups:group A:patients with larger uterine, group B:patients with normal size uterine.Patients underwent fresh embryos transfer are in fresh embryos transfer group, patients underwent frozen embryo transfer are in frozen embryo transfer group.Analyse the information such as miscarriage rate and delivery rate among groups.ResultMiscarriage rate of case group is 21.3% while the rate of control group is 24.2%,there is no significant difference between two groups. The delivery rate each tansfer cycle of case group is 32.8%,has no significant difference with the control group(33.8%).The miscarriage rate of group A (33.3%) is higher than group B(17.7%),The delivery rate each tansfer cycle of group A is 25.0%, lower than the rate of group B(35.4%).Both of the miscarrage rate and delivery rate have no significant difference between two groups. The miscarrage rate of fresh embryo transfer group is 23.0%,has no significant difference with the frozen embryo transfer group (15.8%).The delivery rate of each transfer cycle between two groups has no significant difference(34.6% VS 28.6%).ConclusionIVF-ET is an important measure to help infecund women to have their babys.Adenomyosis may not influence the outcome of IVF-ET.Abnormal uterus size may has side effect on the outcome of IVF-ET treatment in some degree.
