| Cochlear is a sequela of inner ear inflammatory reaction, and inflammatory reaction caused by all kinds of disease will lead to sensorineural hearing loss. When the sensorineural hearing loss is bilateral severe or profound sensorineural hearing loss, the patient need cochlear implantation. But the patient with cochlear ossification, especially in totally ossified cochlear, it will be a tough task to put the array into cochlear easily in surgery. It will be a big challenge to surgeon. This paper shows the statistics of 2 case of cochlear ossification in the second affiliated hospital of Zhejiang university from April 2004 to December 2015.This paper give a detailed report and are reviewing the related literature at home and abroad in recent years, in order to find the risk factor, radiography and surgical technique, in order to improve the recognition, diagnosis and surgical technique. |
