| Objective Analyze heart rate variability(HRV) indexes of time domain, frequency domain and Lorenz plot,to study the cold and heat syndrome distribution characteristics of palpitation patients, and the deficiency and excess syndrome distribution characteristics of palpitation patients, to study the the relationship between autonomic nervous system (ANS) and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndromes. Methods Selected palpitation patients, according to the dialectical criteria of deficiency and excess syndrome, cases were incorporated into excess syndrome group, deficiency syndrome group, or deficiency-excess complication syndrome group; it also been incorporated into six group according to the dialectical criteria of cold and heat syndromes.Holter examination for each patient, the 24 hours of continuous ecg signal would input specialized software.Statistic DCG diagnosis, all the linear indexes,Lorenz plot indexes and features of Lorenz plot. The indexes of HRV were calculated by the software automatically, include time domain index SDNN, SDANN and RMSSD;Frequency domain TP, LF, HF, LF/HF; And Lorenz plot indexes:SD1, SD2, SD1/SD2, area. These indexes were analysised by different methods, Observe all these indexes can obtain more information of HRV.Results A total of 274cases were choosed, mean age 54.11+16.03, including 77 men and 197 women,172 patients were diagnosed with arrhythmia. grouping results according to the deficiency and excess syndrome:67 cases of excess syndrome group, 87 cases of deficiency-excess complication syndrome group,120 cases of deficiency syndrome group cases; grouping results according to the cold and heat syndromes:82 cases of heat syndromes and 59 cases of cold syndrome.grouping results according to the cold and heat syndromes and the deficiency and excess syndrome:32 cases of excess heat,50 cases of deficiency-heat,59 cases of deficiency-cold,27 cases of yin-yang deficiency,38 cases of cold-heat jumble,68 cases of cold-heat in equilibrium. Age had significant difference between each groups of two TCM syndromes.Comparison results of HRV indexes:1.According to whether suffering from cardiac arrhythmia grouping, palpitation group and arrhythmia group is no difference between SDNN, SDANN, RMSSD, TP, LF, HF, SD1, SD2, area, SD1/SD2 indexes; the two groups is significant differences in LF/HF index, arrhythmia group is greater than the palpitation group.2. Grouping according to the deficiency and excess syndrome, the three groups is significant differences in SDNN, SDANN, TP, LF, HF, SD1, SD2 and area indexes, and the mean are characterized by excess syndrome> deficiency-excess complication syndrome> deficiency syndrome;RMSSD and LF/HF, SD1/SD2 indexes is no significant difference between groups.3. The indexes were no difference between the heat syndrome and the cold syndrome except LF and LF/HF, the heat syndromes were higher than the cold syndrome.4.Grouping according to the cold and heat syndromes and the deficiency and excess syndrome, the six groups is significant differences in SDNN, SDANN and RMSSD, TP, LF, HF, SD1, SD2 and area indexes, the mean all show excess heat syndrome> cold-heat in equilibrium syndrome> cold-heat jumble syndrome >deficiency-cold syndrome>deficiency-heat syndrome> yin-yang deficiency syndrome of downward trend; compared there is also significant difference in LF/HF and SD1/SD2 indexes between the 6 groups.Conclusion1. HRV can reflect the energy of ANS, The measured results of HRV is In the normal range in excess syndrome, deficiency-excess complication syndromeand deficiency syndrome groups, while the excess syndrome was highest, and the deficiency syndrome was lowest. Prompt the sympathetic and vagus tension of excess syndrome is in the high equilibrium state, and the sympathetic and vagus tension of deficiency syndrome is in a state of low balance.3. The ANS energy of the heat syndrome and the cold syndrome is no difference. The sympathetic nerve tension increases in heat syndrome.HRV degressive trend excess heat syndrome>cold-heat in equilibrium syndrome> cold-heat jumble syndrome>deficiency-cold syndrome>deficiency-heat syndrome> yin-yang deficiency syndrome. The sympathetic and vagus out of balance in excess heat syndrome, deficiency-heat syndrome and deficiency-cold syndrome. The sympathetic nerve tension increases in excess heat syndrome and deficiency-heat syndrome, The vagus nerve tension increases in deficiency-cold syndrome. |
