Objective To investigate the expression of myosin regulatory light chain 9(MYL9) in peripheral blood for non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) and their correlation with the clinical characteristics of NSCLC. Methods The expressions of MYL9 mRNA was detected by Real-time Quantitative Reverse Transcription Polymarase Chain Reaction(qRT-PCR) in 48 cases of NSCLC patients and 48 cases of healthy examined people in the peripheral blood, and the correlation between the expressions of MYL9 mRNA and clinical characteristics analyzed. Results ① The relative of expression of MYL9 mRNA was (3.16±1.59) in NSCLC patients with peripheral blood,in the control group health examined people was (2.16±1.13), comparison with NSCLC patients was higher than the healthy examined people (P< 0.01);②The relative of expression of MYL9 mRNA in peripheral blood of the NSCLC patients before operation was (3.57±1.63),after the operation to be (5.49±2.55),comparison with postoperative was higher than the preoperative (P<0.01).③The relative of expression of MYL9 mRNA in NSCLC patients with peripheral blood was found no direct relation with age, pathological type, tumor TNM stage, lymph node metastasis, smoking status, sex and tumor size. ④ The relative of expression of MYL9 mRNA of NSCLC patients with poorly differentiated group in peripheral blood was (4.02±0.54), in high differentiation group was (2.67±1.42), compared with poorly differentiated group was higher than in high differentiation group(P=0.022).Conclusion ①The expression of MYL9 in NSCLC patients with peripheral blood can reflect the peripheral blood in patients with micrometastases.It may be a effective predictor of NSCLC malignant behavior,can also be used as detection of NSCLC micrometastases specific and sensitive molecular markers.The discovery of the expression of MYL9 in NSCLC patients with peripheral blood contribute to the diagnosis of NSCLC;② The relative of expression of MYL9 mRNA in NSCLC patients with peripheral blood was found no direct relation with age, pathological type, tumor TNM stage, lymph node metastasis, smoking status, sex and tumor size.The expression level and the occurrence of NSCLC is closely related to the poor development and cell differentiation.
