ObjectiveThe aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of local opera appreciation intervention programs on improving the health behavior and quality of life for the elderly stroke patients in community.Methods1.research preparation part:The local elderly favorite opera repertoire library was formed through literature review, the present situation investigation, etc.Then,the preliminary local opera appreciation intervention programs was formed through expert consultation.2.community intervention trial:75 stroke patients in two communities of Zhengzhou were selected, randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group,using the lottery method.37 stroke patients in the intervention group, 38 stroke patients in the control group. The patients in intervention group received local opera appreciation intervention programs once a week for eight weeks by researchers. Control group received the general health education in the community.Data were collected in the follow time points: pre-intervention, post-intervention,1and 3 months post intervention.The evaluation tools including Health-Promoting Lifestyle ProfileⅡ(HPLPⅡ)、General Self-efficacy Scale(GSES)、Stroke-Specific Quality of Life Scale(SS-QOL).Data were analyzed with SPSS 21.0, using the descriptive statistics, chi-square Text, t test and the repetitive measurement deviation analysis.Results1.In this study, 80 cases of patients were include at first. 5 patients lost to follow-up, a total of 75 cases after the intervention.2. After intervention,the results of repeated-measures analysis of the HPLP II indicated that there was interaction effect with the two factors of time and group(F=322.918,P<0.001). According to the time-tendency graph, the HPLPⅡscored significantly improved in the intervention group patients, the scores lower when 1month, 3 months after intervention.3.The results of repeated-measures analysis of the GSES indicated that there was interaction effect with the two factors of time and group(F=402.765,P<0.001).According to the time-tendency graph, the self-efficacy scored improved in the intervention group patients, the scores lower after intervention.4.There was no statistical significance of the SS-QOL score between the two groups after intervention,after 1 month and 3 months later(F=1.964,P=0.165),there was interaction effect with the two factors of time and group(F=322.918,P<0.001).There was statistical significance of the score of family roles、emotion、personality and social role in the intervening group after 1 month and 3 months later when compared with the baseline(P<0.001).ConclusionLocal opera appreciation intervention programs is a effective intervention measures,can effectively improve the health behavior of community stroke patients.
