About Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Study The Differences Of Gonadal Hormone Levels Between Different Subtypes And Different TCM Syndrome Types

Objective: Study the difference of gonadal hormone levels between Different subtypes and Different TCM syndrome types about PCOS patients.Methods: Patients of Western medicine subtypes frequency distribution:Collecting 180 cases of patients with PCOS,The distribution of the different subtype of western medicine: 51 patients is The typical PCOS, 129 patients without hyperandrogenism. Patients of TCM syndrome type frequency distribution: syndrome of phlegm-dampness due to spleen deficiency with 63 cases,kidney deficiency type with 42 cases,syndrome of dampness-heat of liver channel with 41 cases,stagnation of Qi and blood stasis symptom with 34 cases. Compare and analysis the characteristics and the differences about follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),Luteinizing hormone(LH),Prolactin(PRL),Estradiol(E2),Porgesterone(Prog), Testosterone(T),Body mass index(BMI),Waist-to-Hip ratio(WHR) between those groups. Result:Gonadal hormone comparison between different TCM syndrome types: the E2 level of syndrome of phlegm-dampness due to spleen deficiency slightly is higher than the other three type(P<0.05); the level of T,LH/FSH of kidney deficiency type is higher than the other three type(P<0.05), the level of FSH is lower than the other three type(P <0.05);The PRL level of kidney deficiency type is higher than the other three type(P<0.05). Pro values are low in four groups. Gonadal hormone comparison between different subtype of western medicine: The level of E2、PRL、LH comparison between the two groups had no obvious difference(P﹥0.05).The typical PCOS of patients with T,LH/FSH is higher than without hyperandrogenism(P<0.05),FSH is lower than the without hyperandrogenism(P<0.05); Pro has no obvious difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The BMI,WHR of syndrome of phlegm-dampness due to spleen deficiency is higher than the other three groups(P<0.05). syndrome of dampness-heat of liver channel of BMI, WH below kidney deficiency type group and stagnation of Qi and blood stasis symptom(P<0.05),kidney deficiency type of BMI, WHR and stagnation of Qi and blood stasis symptom was no significant difference(P>0.05).patients without hyperandrogenism of BMI and WHR levels higher than the other one(P<0.05). Conclusion: There are differences in Polycystic ovary syndrome between the different subtype of western medicine and TCM syndrome types about gonadal hormone;kidney deficiency type may be the main TCM syndrome type of The typical PCOS, syndrome of phlegm-dampness due to spleen deficiency may be the main TCM syndrome type of the PCOS without hyperandrogenism PCOS;PCOS with slightly higher PRL value may be related to syndrome of dampness-heat of liver channel.
