Basic Research Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Incompatibility Theory On The Basis Of "Eighteen Incompatible Medicament"

This work was supported by the National Basic Research Program (973 program) and was part of the topic "Basic research of traditional Chinese medicine incompatibility theory on the basis of’Eighteen Incompatible Medicament’"(NO.2011CB505300).This dissertation is divided into three chapters as follows.1. Literature research.In Chapter 1, a detailed review was given about the current research progress of the information technical processing methods about the incompatibility of Chinese medicine and then a proposal of creating an information processing platform about incompatibility for TCM was put forward.2 The establishment of information processing platform in incompatibility of Chinese medicine.In Chapter 2, the incompatibility information processing platform of TCM was established based on the demand of 973 programs. The main structure of the platform consists of five parts, including input and output data files (database, platform to upload files), data processing methods, report the results to export, platform management and platform maintenance. The platform used browser/server (B/S) as its architecture, used Apache HTTP server as a web server, the Microsoft SQL Server as the database management system, the Visualstudio 2005 as a development tools, the Matlab mathematical software development tools as a treatment method, Using Matlab providing calling program, platform language can call Matlab functions for data analysis.The data file is a support portion of the information processing platform, we have a lot of databases including LC-MS information database of chemical compounds of traditional Chinese medicine and natural products built by our laboratory, traditional Chinese medicine and prescription database, traditional Chinese medicine incompatibility database and the upload experimental data to platform which researchers could use the platform to process their own data for data analysis. The data processing method is the core content of the platform, we established four categories of six methods for the practical application for considerations:Rapid identification of chemical composition of traditional Chinese medicine and natural products, interaction evaluation methods of traditional Chinese medicine (based on stepwise regression fitting method of drug interaction studies, drug interaction studies fitting method based on the BP neural network, based on the response surface fitting drug interactions research methods) model of the heat map and data mining methods based on association rules. This paper describes the principles of the six methods, parameter description, pre-treatment of data import, method usage, the form of report outputs, results explanation. Finally, the operating steps for data processing and analysis were noted and the standard operating procedure (SOP) of the usage for the platform was established.3 The application research of the information/data processing platform in incompatibility of Chinese medicine.In Chapter 3, the applications of data processing platform were introduced in detail. Three models of stepwise regression fitting, response surface fitting and heat map were demonstrated completely from data acquisition, data conversion, method importing, processing running to report output and results analysis. These results showed that the data processing platform is easy to operate, the obtained results were reliable and the methods are worth of promoting.
