Objective:This study takes Hangzhou for example, intends to integrate the existing authoritative type 2 diabetes health education materials of the state and optimize a comprehensive intervention process of type 2 diabetes health education. Under the application of systematic health education materials and the guidance of the general practitioner curriculum, through randomized controlled trials to explore and analysis the evaluation of the application process of type 2 diabetes community health education, and provide a reference for future type 2 diabetes community health education projects.Methods:This study was a quasi-experimental research, community health service centers in type 2 diabetic patients were randomly selected to meet the requirements, divided into intervention group of 36 patients and in the control group of 36 patients. To strengthen health education intervention to the intervention group with type 2 diabetes, did not carry out any intervention to strengthen the control group which only received routine outpatient health education. The entire process for the intervention was three-month,the intervention program for the intervention group was 6 weeks with telephone follow-up. Analysis two sets of conditions after intervention by statistics, compared diabetes knowledge, self-management and evaluation and type 2 diabetes integrated control differences goals of two sets to evaluate the effectiveness of intervention programs.Results:After the intervention, compared the intervention group’s before and after. Diabetes knowledge, self-management scores, diet, exercise, medication compliance, foot care, self-management evaluation diet section has clearly improved. Monitoring compliance did not change significantly. BMI values, blood pressure, glycated hemoglobin, total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and LDL, active aerobic activity did not appear significantly changes. After the intervention, the comparison between the two groups. Compared with the control group, the intervention group in mastering diabetes knowledge, self-management scores, diet control, exercise, foot care was better than the control group. Medication compliance and monitoring compliance had no statistical significance. The blood pressure is significantly different. BMI values, glycosylated hemoglobin, total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and LDL, active aerobic activity did not appear significantly changes.Conclusion:Type 2 diabetes Comprehensive Health Education Intervention program designed in this study has a certain effect to prevent and treat the type 2 diabetes patients in communities,it can improve their knowledge of diabetes awareness, self-management levels and stabilize blood pressure.
