Objective:To evaluate the significance of the Multi-Dop X to contrasting of blood flow in patients with severe carotid artery stenosis after identified by cerebral angiography and blood flow before and after the carotid artery stenting.Methods:To select 100 patients who with severe carotid artery stenosis after identified by cerebral angiography hospitalized in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University Department of Neurology in the January 2014-September 2015, use the Multi-Dop X produced by Germany DWL company, to Compare the blood flow changes with narrow side and contralateral side, as well as to compare the responsibility artery blood flow changes in 50 patients with successful carotid artery stenting.Results:The blood flow of carotid stenosis stenosis of was significantly faster than the side contralateral, the peak systolic velocity(Vs) of anterior carotid artery(ACA) is(146.25±47.78)cm/s, the side contralateral is (87.42±14.58)cm/s; the peak systolic velocity(Vs) of middle carotid artery(MCA) is (158.91±45.42)cm/s, the side contralateral is (93.35±16.3)cm/s; the peak systolic velocity(Vs) of posterior carotid artery(PCA) is (121.71±54.44)cm/s, the side contralateral is (74.46±18.24)cm/s, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.01). The blood flow of carotid artery stenosis slowed down compared with before surgery, the peak systolic velocity(Vs) from(105.65±13.15)cm/s, drops to(85.29±12.27)cm/s, the diastolic velocity(Vd) from (61.18±16.08)cm/s,drops to(43.76±15.03)cm/s, the mean velocity(Vm) from(79.69±13.54)cm/s, drops to(61.73±12.74)cm/s, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:The Multi-Dop X has a higher detection rate to severe carotid artery stenosis, and suitable for carotid artery stenosis screening and follow-up carotid artery stenting.
