The questionnaire includes child impact section(CIS) and family impact section( FIS).Data were analyzed using SPSS version 19.0.We use the effect size to test the statistical significance of the changes. Results:The sample population of children consisted of 33 males(60 percent) and 22 females(40 percent). Children aged 3-4 years old accounts for 58%.4-5 years old children accounts for 33% and 5-6 years old children accounts for 9%. Overall child impact section scores decreased 50 percent following treatment(P<.001), and family impact section scores decreased 53 percent(P<.001), revealing a large ES for the child(1.4) and family(4.0) sections of the ECOHIS.Conclusion:Provision of dental treatment under general anesthesia for uncooperative, young children with extensive dental problems had significant effects on quality of life of both children and their families.
