Objective:Through to the clinical observation of implantable venous access port’s catheter depth,summarized the simplified calculation formula of insertion depth, providing guidance for clinical work.Methods:According to the selection criteria, successfully incorporated into 30 clinical cases, among them 11 male children,others are female.Detailedly record the patient’s gender, age, height, weight,diagnosis, depth of insertion and VPA’s chest X-ray. Then making statistical analysis of these data.The research showed that the best position of catheter is at the entrance of right atrium. According to children’s body length and catheter’s depth, summarized the simplified calculation formula of insertion depth.Results:Children’s general situation and the depth of insertion are in the form of mean ± standard deviation: Age(25.30±14.07) months, weight(14.32±3.21)kg, body length(88.00±11.23) cm,depth(6.92±0.72) cm.19 female children among them, body length(86.11±11.28)cm,depth(6.76±0.71)cm;11 male children among them, body length(91.27±10.87)cm, depth(7.18±0.68)cm.The depth of insertion and body length conforms to the linear correlation analysis: Depth(cm)= 1.411+0.063×body length(cm),r=0.976,P<0.001.Conclusion:There is linear regression relationship between Children’s length and the depth of insertion. In the clinical work, we can take the easily measured length into the established regression equation to calculate the depth of insertion, providing guidance for clinic. |
