Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Ma Su Banxia Decoction of AECOPD(phlegm obstructing in the lung syndrome) patients and its influence on the serum levels of interleukin-18, C-reactive protein level.Methods:A randomized controlled trial 66 patients with AECOPD(phlegm obstructing in the lung syndrome) were divided into treatment and control groups disheartened by the treatment group to Ma Su Banxia Decoction and anti-bacterial, anti-asthmatic, expectorant drugs; the control group were given antibacterial, asthma, expectorant drugs. Chinese medicine treatment were observed clinical symptoms and serum levels of IL-18, C-reactive protein content.Result:1.Ma Su Banxia Decoction on AECOPD significant clinical effect, the total effective rate was 96.87%. Compared with control group was statistically significant (P<0.05).2.Ma Su Banxia Decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients treatmented was different (P<0.05), and better than the control group (P<0.05).3.Ma Su Banxia Decoction can effectively reduce serum levels of interleukin-18, treatmented was different (P<0.05), and better than the control group (P<0.05).4.Ma Su Banxia Decoction can effectively reduce serum white blood cell count, treatmented was different (P<0.05), and better than the control group (P<0.05).5.Ma Su Banxia Decoction can effectively reduce serum C-reactive protein, treatmented was different (P<0.05), and better than the control group (P<0.05).In conclusion:1.Ma Su Banxia Treated AECOPD (phlegm retention in the lung type) significant clinical effect, can significantly improve the clinical symptoms, no adverse reactions.2.Ma Su Banxia Decoction can reduce AECOPD (phlegm retention in the lung type) in patients with serum IL-18 levels and white blood cell count, C-reactive protein.
