To analysis the epidemiological characteristics and trend of hand-foot-mouth disease(HFMD) in Qixia District of Naniing city during 2011-2014. 2. To explore the relationship between the incidence of HFMD and meteorological factors, and to provide the basis for the prediction of HFMD in Oixia area.3. To find risk and protective factors of HFMD, and to provide theoretical basis for control measures with Qixia characteristic.Methods:1. The spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of HFMD in Oixia area. The epidemic situation data of HFMD in Oixia area during 2011-2014 was collected from the China Disease Prevention and Control Information System. The distribution of the epidemic tendency was described.2. The relationship between the incidence of HFMD and meteorological factors. Data of HFMD incidence and meteorological observations were processed by linear correlation and multiple linear regression. The meteorological index include month average temperature, month rainfall depth. month daylight hours and so on. The data for the present study came from the China Weather Network News.3. Analysis of influence factors of HFMD. An epidemiological survey was performed on 100 children with HFMD and 100 children with non-HFMD during April and June,2014. The possible risk factors and protective factors were analyzed with cases questionnaire form.Results:1. The incidence rate of HFMD has risen during 2011-2014, with a peak of 302.6 cases per 100 000 population in 2014 and a low of 197.67 in 2011. 2. The incidence time of HFMD mainly concentrated from 5 to 6 months and 10 to 12 months every vear. The epidemic was seen in the resident areas of each community. HFMD incidences in the patients of age-group 0-5 were significantly higher than in those of other aee-groups. The incidence rate of residentiallv-scattered children and nursery children was significantly higher than that of students. The incidence ratio of the boys and the girls was 1.7:1.3. The regression equation was developed between the incidence of HFMD and meteorological factors. Y=2.304+1.012X1+0.171X2. in which X1 is month average temperature, X2 is month rainfall depth, Y is the incidence of HFMD.4. The influencing factors of HFMD were whether knew prevention method of HFMD, ate cold food, drank unboiled water, and play with children with HFMD.Conclusion:1. The epidemic of HFMD in Oixia District during 2011-2014 appears once every other year. There is an increasingly tendency to the incidence of HFMD.2. The incidence of HFMD in Oixia District during 2011-2014 was happened in each street. There is a morbidity peak in winter and spring, and the number of cases is mainly concentrated in the spring. Children under 5 years old had the highest incidence of the disease. Risk of HFMD is serious for boys than for girls.3. There is an linear correlation between the incidence of HFMD and meteorological factors(month average temperature and month rainfall depth).4.Knowing the prevention of HFMD is protective factors for HFMD. Eating cold food, drinking unboiled water, and playing with children with HFMD are risk factors. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Hand foot and mouth disease, incidence, Epidemiology, meteorological factors, influencing factors | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
