Objective:To discuss the clinical and pathological features, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of synchronous primary carcinoma of endometrium and ovary。Methods:A retrospective analysis of 18 cases of the synchronous primary adenocarcinoma of endometrium and ovary in The First Affiliated Hospital of ChongQing Medical University between January 2007 and December 2014 was performed。Results:18 patients with a median age at diagnosis was 47.5 years old, including 13 premenopausal cases.15 patients of them showed abnormal vaginal bleeding,14 cases of pelvic mass was found. Elevated serum CA125 levels were found in 15 cases, up to 8188U/ml, median CA125 for 418U/ml.Conclusion:Synchronous primary carcinoma of endometrium and ovary mostly occurred in women younger than 50 years old。 A Perimenopausal woman who was diagnosed of endometrial adenocarcinoma, while presented with pelvic mass and elevated CA125, we should first consider synchronous primary cancer of endometrium and ovary。Most synchronous primary carcinomas of endometrium and ovary were FIGO stage â… or Ⅱ。 And the prognosis is better than endometrial or ovarian cancer. |
