Objective:Taking the school-age migrant children in Guangzhou Baiyun District as the research object, the local children as a control, we aimed to understand the occurrence characteristics of behavior Problems of migrant children, the behavior Problems incidence its trend. We also investigated the effects of Parents’occuPation and education level to school-age migrant children behavior Problems, and its influence factors of behavioral Problems. Methods:Using the method of convient samPling,5 Public Primary schools which could accePt children of migrant workers in GuangZhou Baiyun District were enrolled. In each school we selected Grades 1-6 (7-12 years old) of local household registration, non local household registration students (with the field of rural household registration, and in Baiyun District of Guangzhou city living for more than 6 months of Primary school children in reading) as the study PoPulation, and we also enrolled 45 individuals in 1 class from each grade. There were 1350 coPies distributed. As a result,1080 questionnaires were recovered because of the questionnaire missing and incomplete in the Process of investigation, questionnaire and the recovery rate is 80%. Achenbach Child Behavior Questionnaire (CBCL) (Parents) evaluated the children’s behavior and we used SPSS 17.0 software for statistical analysis. The questionnaires were comPleted by the training of Preventive medicine undergraduate interns at the Parents’meeting.Results:1.Migrant children behavioral Problems detection rate are much higher than the local children’s (P< 0.05), and the Problems of social withdrawal, dePression and somatic comPlaints act sPlit the highest detection rate.ComPared with the norm, the Problems of floating children in antisocial behavior, comPulsive behaviors, Physical comPlaints behavior, social withdrawal, sPlit-forced scores were much higher than the norm (P<0.05).2.The scores for migrant children behavior factors were higher than the local children, male children communication in schizoid, adverse, somatic comPlaints and disciplinary factor score significant differed, while female children exist significant differences in splitting force and aggression factor scores (P<0.05); The lower layer migrant children Parents occuPation, the higher behavior Problem factors score, and the higher layer migrant children Parents occuPation, the lower behavior Problem factors score. The lower migrant children Parents educational level, the higher behavior Problem factors score, and the higher migrant children Parents educational level, the lower behavior Problem factors score.3.In the univariate analysis, Parental occuPation and education have no significant effects on the incidence of floating children with behavioral Problems. Floating children with behavior Problems occur mainly in getting along with Parents、siblings and in learning Problems and other factors. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that getting along with Parents and siblings, learning Problems factors are independent risk factors of current children’s behavioral Problems. Conclusion:Behavior Problems exist among migrant children, and the behavior Problems tend to increase. Their behavior Problems are caused by many reasons, such as the family, school and society etc. If we want to reduce the incidence of children’s behavior Problems, we should aimed at the current situation of children’s behavioral Problems, formulate corresPonding Prevention and intervention measures.
