| Background:The ureteral stent has been more and more widely applied clinically to urinary surgery since its birth, it has become an indispensable aid to urinary surgery. But since it’s a foreign matter put into the urinary tract, it also causes many clinical complications, among which, the stone formed on the wall of ureter is a hot potato in clinical treatment, some patients develop stones with great size, leading to a difficulty in decannulation that sometimes needs to be treated with open operation, which costs the patients much both financially and mentally. However, clinically, any good method to prevent the formation of stone on the ureteral wall is not found to date. This study tries to use Uralyt-u to prevent the formation of stone on the ureteral wall, hoping to find a way to prevent the stone formation on the ureteral wall, and to eliminate the suffering from disease for the population of patients and to serve for the clinical work simultaneously. Objective:To discuss and explore the curative effect of potassium sodium hydrogen citrate particle on the prevention of the stone formation on the double-“J†tube wall. Method:60 patients have been equally performed with implantation of ureteral stents and with the operation of removal of kidney stone or ureteral stone with a thorough removal of stone during the operation. It is shown by a postoperative abdominal KUB that the double J tube has a good position, the stents are equally of identical imported material with a model of F6. 30 patients took Uralyt-u orally, among whom, there are 18 males and 12 females, they took Uralyt-u for two times and 10 g in total per day, the drug dosage was adjusted based on the urinary PH. the control group consists of 30 patients, 20 males and 10 females, on whom the double J tube has been equally retained for one month before it is withdrawn under cystoscope, the volume of stone formation on tube wall is to be observed, we divide the experimental results into several grades as follows: A. the color of tube wall remains unchanged, which is regarded as no stone formation occurs; B. no stone can be observed by a naked eye on the tube wall but the color of tube wall has changed, by rubbing with the hand, the stone can be found, which is regarded as stone formation occurs; C. a clear stone can be seen on the tube wall; D. a lot of stones have been formed on the tube wall, the stent cannot be withdrawn under cystoscope. Result:In the experimental group, the number of grade A patients is 25, among whom, 13 males, 12 females, the number of grade B patients is 2, the number of grade C is three patients and grade D patients is zero, in the control group, the number of grade A patients is 17, the number of grade B patients is 6, the number of grade C patients is 7, the number of grade D patients is 0. Conclusion:The oral administration of Uralyt-u can significantly reduce the postoperative stone formation on tube wall in the patients retained with stents, the main ingredient of Uralyt-u is potassium sodium hydrogen citrate, after oral administration of it, the urinary PH and citrate discharge can be increased. The citrate is the anion that predominates in urine, it is also an important inhibitor against the calcium stone, which can directly inhibit all the process of crystal formation, including the crystal’s nucleary, growth and aggregation; it can also be combined with the urinary calcium to form the citric acid monocalcium having a high solubility, in turn, reducing the concentration of calcium ion in urine, keeping a low saturability of urinary calcium oxalate, which can indirectly inhibit the crystal formation, meanwhile, the raise of PH value can increase the solubility of uric acid stone and cystine stone, achieving the goal of stone inhibition, it is recommended that the patients retained with stents have a regular oral administration of Uralyt-u. |
