| Objective To observe the clinical impacts of Shengui Huxin Decoction on patients of non-valvular atrial fibrillation and the influence on blood levels of C-reactive protein.Methods 50 proper non-valvular atrial fibrillation patients were divided randomly into two groups, with 25 patients each. Based on the normal treatments, patients in the control group were given amiodarone pills with the dose of 0.2g per time, three times a day in the first week,0.2g twice a day in the second week and 0.1g three times a day for the last two weeks; at the same time, patients in the treatment group were given Shengui Huxin Decoction one bag a time, twice a day, combined with amiodarone pills 0.1g three times a day for all the 4 weeks. Compare the efficacy of the two groups and the level changes of C-reactive protein.Result1 After treatment, the total effective number and rate of the treatment group is 23 and 92%, higher than that of the control group, ie.17 ones and 68% (P<0.05); remarkably effective number and rate in the treatment group is 8 and 32%, also higher than the other group, ie.5 ones and 20%(P>0.05);2 Patients’TCM symptoms were relieved in both groups after treatments, changes of symptom scores reflect statistically significance (P< 0.05), efficacy analysis also shows statistically significantly(P<0.05) in that the total effective numbers are 18 ones and 11 ones respectively, with the rates of 72% and 44%;3 There is no statistically significance of CRP level changes in the control group patients(P>0.05), yet significance in the treatment group ones(P<0.05).Conclusion1 Shengui Huxin Decoction combined with amiodarone pills can improve the clinical efficacy of non-valvular atrial fibrillation patients without obvious side effects.2 Shengui Huxin Decoction combined with amiodarone can decrease the blood levels of C-reactive protein in non-valvular atrial fibrillation patients. |
