ObjectiveTo evaluate the association of BMI,Leptin, Lipids and Hs-C-reactive protein with severe pre-eclampsia.MethodsWe have used a set of case-control studies,we chose 60 cases of severe preeclampsia pregnant women in Changzhou women and children health hospital from June 2014 to March 2015,All the subjects were ranging in age under 35 years, and all in the third trimester(pregnancy≥34 weeks) and including 30 cases ranging in gestational week from 34 to 37 weeks, while another 30cases≥37 weeks,in order to matched the normal normotensive pregnant women. We used t test to compare two groups the statistically significant difference in the BMI, Leptin, lipids and hs-CRP,and used linear regression analysis compare the correlation between BMI, Leptin, and lipids in severe preeclampsia pregnant women.Results1.The severe preeclampsia women body mass index(BMI)was 29.93±4.16kg/m2,the normal pregnant women BMI was 26.38±2.70kg/m2,severe preeclampsia women has higher body mass index than normal pregnant women(contral group), there was significantly statistical difference(P<0.001).2. Preeclampsia group serum leptin was 30.57±10.33ng/ml,and contral group was 20.14±8.16ng/ml,in contrast to normal pregnant women, the rise in serum leptin was statistically significant(P<0.05) in preeclamptic patients.3. The serum levels of lipids of two group:TG3.12±0.88,2.42±0.66mmol/L,TC 6.13±1.03,5.67±0.43mmol/L,HDL-C 1.19±0.54,1.56±0.30mmol/L,LDL-C 3.50±1.34,2.95±0.95mmol/L,the serum lipids concentration showed very significant(P<0.05) increase in the severe preeclampsia women than in the normotensive pregnant women.4. Preeclampsia group hs-CRP was 6.34±8.92mg/L,and contral group was 4.21±3.25mg/L,the serum hs-CRP level showed very significant(P<0.05) rise in the severe preeclampsia women.5. In severe preeclampsia group, BMI was positively correlated with leptin(r=0.72,P<0.05);BMI was positively correlated with TG, TC and LDL-C(r respectively 0.64,0.48,0.45,P<0.05),and was negatively correlated with HDL-C(r=-0.39,P<0.05),wherein a greater correlation with TG。Leptin was positively correlated with TG(r=0.42,P<0.05),and was no linear correlation with TC、HDL-C and LDL-C(P>0.05).Conclusion Severe preeclampsia and BMI,Leptin,Lipids, Hs-CRP was positively correlated. Prompt obesity might play a role in severe pre-eclampsia, High serum leptin levels were independently associated with severe preeclampsia.Dyslipidemia, inflammatory mediators involved in severe pre-eclampsia occurs during vascular endothelial injury.
