Objective:To investigate the correlation between the environmental and the occurrence of peritonitis in patients with PD.The bacteria sampling and culture were carried out according to the standard of environmental standard for the patients, and the risk factors for the development of the culture were analyzedMethods:86 cases of clinically stable peritoneal dialysis patients were visited at home in Yiwu City. Using self designed questionnaire, on patients with home dialy sis environment of site score; by means of air, desktop germiculture, e xchange fluid were detected. At the same time, the history of peritonitis and the pathogenic bacteria were recorded. Results:Environmental score(RR=l.424, P=0.04) was associated with recurre nt peritonitis. Economic income was associated with patient environmental score (P=0.03). The unqualified rate of the change of the patients with the u nqualified of the environmental score was high(RR=2.91,P= 0.03).Air cul ture unqualified was related to the air of dust(RR=7.3, P=0.02).Desktop sanmpling culture unqualified was related to no separate dialysis(RR=2.86, P=0.05)and air dust(RR=7.7, P=0.03).Conclusions:PD patients who have recurrent peritonitis was relected to home environment. Economic income is the independent risk factor of patient’s environment score. Unqualified of environmental score was relected to the unqualified ofbacterial culture of the dialysis room.Sub group analysis showed that air dust is related to the unqualified of air culture. Air dust, bedroom dialysis was related to the unqualified of table culture.Primary hospital should strengthen early education in peritoneal dialysis patients. The patients with poor economic conditions, unqualified home environment score, recurrent peritonitis have to strengthen the maintenance of the dialysis environment, such as strengthening the ultraviolet disinfection frequency, separate for the liquid chamber. In order to strengthen the compliance of the patients, recommend regular targeted visits.
