1 ObjectivePregnancy is a special physiological period for women, and it has a series of physiological changes during pregnancy to adapt to the mother and the development of the fetus. The mother through the placenta to carry out the exchange of substances, maternal nutrition and metabolism affect fetal growth, along with the development of the fetus, fetal placental complex can synthesize and secrete hormones and pregnancy related proteins and enzymes, effect of maternal metabolism. In this paper, the detection of serum components in the term pregnancy women and newborns, observe the change of maternal blood index, the difference and correlation between maternal blood and umbilical cord blood were analyzed, and the relationship between the growth and development of newborns, the difference of gender, delivery mode. Assessment of the effects of maternal and fetal metabolic and nutritional status on fetal development, favor of pregnancy care, pregnancy monitoring, prenatal guidance.2 MethodPregnant 37-41+ weeks, singleton, term pregnancy, no congenital malformation of the newborn delivery, umbilical cord blood serum samples were collected from 113 cases of umbilical cord blood group, of which 65 cases of male baby,48 cases of female baby. At the same time, we collected 113 cases of neonatal mother’s prenatal fasting serum as the maternal blood group, the mothers ages were 18-42 years, average 28.36± 5.14 years old. In addition, pregnant women with single pregnancy, pregnant 37-41+ weeks pregnant women, fasting serum 358 cases of term pregnancy group, ages 18-42 years, average 27.87±4.67 years old. The function of liver and kidney of the pregnant mother is normal, and there is no complication of pregnancy and others idiopathic diseases of pregnancy. In the same period,292 cases of healthy physical examination, childbearing age and non pregnant women were in the control group, age 18-41 years old, average 28.12 ± 4.92 years old, normal liver and kidney function, no organic disease. There was no significant difference in age between the mothers of the term pregnancy group (P>0.05).5ml samples were collected in vacume blood collection tubes, quiet place for 30 minutes,3000r/min centrifugal 10min, promptly separated serum. Using Olympus AU2700 automatic biochemical analyzer detection:alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and urea (UREA), total cholesterol (TC), uric acid (UA), prealbumin (PA), triglyceride (TG), cholinesterase (CHE), amylase (AMY), retinol binding protein (RBP), angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE), leucine aminopeptidase (LAP), glycyl proline dipeptidyl aminopeptidase (GPDA), sialic acid (SA), creatinine (CR), a-L-fucosidase (AFU) and homocysteine (HCY). Except continuous monitoring assay, all items are calibrated with the corresponding calibration, and the internal quality control is in control. Observe the change of the index of the term pregnancy group with the increase of gestational age, comparison of the differences between the maternal blood and umbilical cord blood, the difference of umbilical cord blood in different sex and delivery methods, relationship between maternal blood, umbilical cord blood and gestational week(gestational age). Analysis and evaluation of the relationship between maternal blood, umbilical cord blood and neonatal growth and development.3 Result(1)Differences and related results of umbilical cord blood and prenatal maternal blood.Comparison of the mean value of the newborn umbilical cord blood and its pregnant mother, there were no significant differences in GPDA, UREA, Cr, UA, HCY and ACE between maternal blood and cord blood (all P>0.05), there were significant differences in the rest of the mothers and the umbilical cord blood (all P<0.001). Two variable correlation analysis results:UA was highly correlated within maternal blood and umbilical cord blood(r=0.922, P<0.001), UREA, Cr, HCY were significantly correlated (respectively r=0.738, r=0.696, r=0.543, all P<0.001). AFU, ChE, SA, ACE low correlation, TG, PA weak correlation, the rest is not relevant. Multivariate correlation analysis showed that GPDA and LAP, PA and RBP were significantly correlated within maternal blood and umbilical cord blood, maternal serum UA was significantly correlated with Cr, and the height of the newborn is highly correlated with the weight of the body.(2)Comparison and results of all the indexes between umbilical cord blood group, term pregnancy group and control group.①There were no significant differences in GPDA, Cr, UA and HCY in cord blood group and term pregnancy group, the others items were statistically different (UREA,P <0.05, the rest were P<0.001).②Comparison between the mean of the term pregnancy group and the control group, there were no significant differences in RBP and AMY (P>0.05), there were significant differences in the rest (HCY, ACE P<0.05, the others P<0.001)。③Comparison of mean values between cord blood group and control group, except HCY (P>0.05), there were significant differences (all P≤0.001).④With the increase of the gestational age, the blood indexes of pregnant women with term pregnancy showed different changes.(3)Correlation between the indexes of umbilical cord blood, maternal blood and neonatal height and weight. The height of the newborn was positively correlated with the maternal blood TG, and positively correlated with RBP and PA in cord blood, and negatively correlated with ACE in umbilical cord blood, all were weakly correlated. Other items of maternal blood and umbilical cord blood had no correlation with the height of the newborn. The neonatal weight was positively related to maternal blood TG and AFU, positively related to RBP and PA in umbilical cord blood, all were weakly related. Other items of maternal blood and umbilical cord blood had no correlation with the neonatal weight.(4)The difference between male and female in umbilical cord blood group.Comparison between the umbilical cord blood of the baby boy and baby girl, the Cr and AMY values of baby girls were higher than boys (Cr:53.56±7.80umol/1 vs 48.60±9.14umol/l; AMY:6.13±3.17U/L vs 4.10±1.87U/L), there were statistical difference (P=0.003, P=0.000, respectively). The AFU value of boby boy was higher than that of baby girls (39.58±12.64U/L vs 30.52±11.04 U/L,P<0.001), other items were not statistically different.(5)The difference of umbilical cord blood results in different delivery modes. The UREA, Cr, PA, ChE, SA, AMY values of the natural delivery were higher than the cesarean section, the P values were 0.044,0.007,0.003,0.012,0.001 and 0.022, respectively. There were no statistical difference in the detection value of other items in different delivery modes.(6)Relationship between maternal blood and umbilical cord blood and gestational weeks (gestational age).Cord blood Cr, PA and gestational age were weakly positive correlation, r=0.199, P =0.035; r=0.206, P=0.031, respectively. Cord blood TC, LAP and gestational age were weekly negatively correlated, r=-0.208, P=0.027; r=-0.197, P=0.037, respectively. Other indicators of maternal blood and cord blood were not associated with gestational weeks (gestational age).4 Conclusion(1) Most of the indicators have a significant difference between umbilical cord blood group, term pregnancy group and control group.(2) The prenatal serum indexes of the pregnant women with full term pregnancy showed different changes with the increase of gestational age.(3)The nutrition and metabolism of maternal blood affect fetal growth and development. The correlation between the umbilical cord blood, maternal blood, maternal blood and umbilical cord blood was different.(4)Part of the maternal blood, umbilical cord blood test indicators were related with neonatal birth weight and height.(5) Different sex and delivery mode, there were difference in the umbilical cord blood.(6)Part of the test items of the umbilical cord blood were weakly correlated with the gestational age, there was no correlation between maternal blood and gestational weeks.
