Objective:To investigate clinical date of patients with acute cerebral infarction through analyzing the clinical medical features of patients with acute cerebral infarction admitted to The First Affiliated Hospital of CQMU from 2013 to 2014, thus providing basis for the prevention and treatment of acute cerebral infarction. Methods:For the analysis of clinical features,409 cases of patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI) admitted to our hospital within 14 days since the onset were retrospectively analyzed regarding age, gender, season of onset, cerebral infarction typing, infarct location, drug therapy, performance of thrombolytic therapy, complications during hospitalization and prognosis-related information. Results:A total of 409 patients with acute cerebral infarction were collected in this study, including 240 males (58.7%) and 169 females (41.3%) with the average age of 68.33±12.34. Of them, the age group with the highest percentage was patients aged from 70 to 79 (35.4%), and the main seasons of onset were winter and spring (80.8%). Only 42 cases (10.3%) of patients were admitted to our hospital within 3h since the onset. In common risk factors for stroke, hypertension accounted for 68.6%. According to OCSP typing, LACI patients and part PACI patients were the top two groups among those in our hospital. The most common lesion site of cerebral infarction was the basal ganglia. Only 212 patients (51.8%) underwent cerebrovascular examination, and 37 patients (9.0%) underwent thrombolytic therapy, where post-thrombolysis cerebral hemorrhage was reported in 4 cases. The highest proportion of complication during hospitalization was pulmonary infection (17.8%). The hospital stay of the ACI patients were 1-37 (12.13±12.34) days. On the discharge,274 cases (77.0%) were divided into the good prognosis group and 135 cases (33.0%) into the poor prognosis group. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that patient NIHSS scores and lung infection during hospitalization were the independent predictors affecting the prognosis of ACI patients.Conclusions:(1) Cerebral infarction is mainly developed in males and the main occurring seasons are winter and spring. (2) The common risk factor of cerebral infarction is hypertension; the most frequent type is LACI according to OCSP typing; the most common infarction site is basal ganglia; the highest percentage of complication is pulmonary infection. (3) Only 9.0% of patients with ACI undergo thrombolytic therapy. (4) The NIHSS scores and lung infection during hospitalization are the independent predictors of prognosis.
