| Object:To observe the surgical spine fusion performance of using xenogeneic freeze-dried bone combining with autologous bone marrow to operate the lumbar posterolateral inter transverse fusion surgery for rabbits. providing a sufficient, effective and safe,good of fusion clinical method for the spinal fusion surgery.Methods:Average 36 rabbits were randomly divided into 3 groups, group A(12) : heterogeneous freeze-dried mixed bone marrow, group B(12) : simple heterogeneous freeze-dried bone and group C(12) : autogenous iliac, implanting bone graft materials into their respective category model between transverse process. After 12 weeks of execution model, to collect and handle the specimen, respectively by gross observation, radiographic, histologic and biomechanic testing such as observation, analysis the fusion results.Results:After the surgery in 12 weeks, with the comparison of general observation, manual detection, biomechanics, the fusion rate in Group A and Group C was higher than Group B,which showed the statistic significance in differences(p<0.05). The percentage of imaging examination is visible between three groups of solid fusion was significant, A fusion, C two group was higher than that of the B group. Biomechanical testing bone zone specimens under three point bending load, xenogeneic bone with saturated saline group the largest average load of three point bending failure was 184.32±31.07 N, iliac crest autograftgroup of three point bending failure load maximum average was 304.29±18.36 N,xenogeneic freeze-dried bone with autologous bone marrow group the largest average three point bending failure load of 252.47 ±25.45 N dissimilar freeze-dried, pure bending rigidity of xenogeneic bone with saturated saline group is obviously lower than the other two groups, with significant difference(p<0.05), and iliac crest autograft group and xenogeneic freeze-dried bone with autologous bone marrow group was statistically no significant difference(p<0.05). In Group A, there were abundant of new bone formation in contact within the implanted xenogeneic porous bone; There were amount of newly bone formation in group B, mostly were the fibrous connective tissue; there were some newly trabecular bone formation at bone-material interface in Group C.Conclusions:The xenogeneic freeze-dried bone combining with autologous bone marrow can improve the effect of spinal fusion,with autologous bone graft has no obvious difference,So it can be used as bone graft material for spinal fusion surgery. |
