The Clinical Study Of Yunpi Granules To Treat Functional Dyspepsia Caused By Liver Depres-sion And Spleen Deficiency

Objective:The paper is to study the Yunpi Granules’ clinical curative effect on the patients, who are tormented with functional dyspepsia(abbr. FD), depression and anxiety, and then to provide the academic evidence for the Yunpi Granules’ clinical application, which can explore a new therapy for FD.Methods:In this research, 80 cases, selected from Wang Zili’s Studio of Traditional Chinese Medicine and gastrointestinal department of Gansu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,are divided into two groups, the indexes of two groups show no significant differences in sexuality, age, disease course, condition, general symptom, single symptom, depression and anxiety. The Yunpi Granules were applied to the Treated Group half hour after meals, one bag for each time, and three times for the whole day. The other team, named the Control Team,used Domperidone Tablets half hour before meals, 10 mg for an adult, 3 times a day. After four weeks, the observation report of two groups came out, includes the security index and and the curative effect index, the first index referring to body temperature, sphygmus, breath,blood pressure, routine of blood, urine and stool, liver function, renal function, ECG,untoward effect; and the second index referring to TCM symptoms’ score, Hamilton Anxiety Scale(abbr. HAMA) score, Hamilton’s Depression Scale(abbr. HAMD). And two months’ follow-ups and the precise records of data were necessary. The final step was analysis and comparison of data with the help of statistical software, to explore the curative effect of the Yunpi Granules.Result:1. Two groups’ indexes of symptom, HAMD and HAMA declined in different degrees,while the Treated Group’s data declining much sharper than the Control Group(P<0.05).2. The Domperidone Tablets and the Yunpi Granules have effects on relieving flatulence,belching and hyperacidity, while the latter one has special effect on inappetence, loose stool,fatigue, nausea, vomiting, irritability. There’s no doubt that Yunpi Granules have much more efficiency on clinical symptoms.3. Both the Yunpi Granules and the Domperidone Tablets relieve almost all of symptoms referring to HAMD, except that their curative effects cannot keep the consistency with the change of day and night, and cannot improve the patients’ weight. And, Domperidone Tablets improve corporal symptoms much better than spiritual symptoms, while Yunpi Granules can improve all symptoms. The comparison proves that Yunpi Granules have more curative effects than the Domperidone Tablets(P<0.05).4. The total effective rate of the Treated Group is 88%, 20% more than the Control Group, so the Yunpi Granules has better traditional Chinese medicine effect than the Domperidone Tablets(P<0.05).5. After two months’ treatment, the recurrence rate of the Treated Group is 5.7%, and that of the Control Group is 18.5%, there’s obvious difference between the two groups(P<0.05).6. There is one diarrhea after using Yunpi Granules, one dry mouth, one somnolence, one rash after using the Domperidone Tablets in the experiment. However, all of these untoward effects relieve after drug withdrawal.Conclution:Both the Yunpi Granules and the Domperidone Tablets are capable of relieving the patients’ symptoms of FD. And the curative effect of the Yunpi Granules is much better than the Domperidone Tablets, the untoward effect is less, the recurrence rate is lower, so the Yunpi Granules worth a wide range of clinical application.
