Meta Analysis For Clinical Efficacy Of Knee Osteoarthritis With Needle-Knife

Objective:Evaluation of needle-knife therapy efficacy and safety of the knee osteoarthritis using Meta analysis method.Methods:Formulating corresponding retrieval strategy,using the computer retrieval and manual retrieval to screen early literature.Computer retrieval database includes the Chinese Biological Medical Database,CNKI,VIP database(VIP) and Wan Fang(WF),China National Knowledge Infrastructure including Chinese periodical literature database,important meeting full-text database,master and doctor degree dissertation database,also includes Pub med,Embase and Cochrane Library.The time is limited to between January 31,2003 and December 31,2013.Which can’t get the full text of,supplemented by manual retrieval relevant database.On the basis of exclusion criteria and inclusion criteria,comprehensive collection of small needle knife randomized controlled trials for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.According to the improved Jadad scale score, evaluation into the research of methodological quality and score four points or more, access to relevant data.To adopt stata12.0 Meta analysis software.Result:(1) the six experimental group(needle knife) and control group(conventional western medicine treatment alone or acupuncture and Electric acupuncture,massage therapy)of RCT,entirely in Chinese literature,including 494 cases of patients with knee osteoarthritis,improved the Jadad scale scores are included in the literature,the improved Jadad score scale scored an average of 4.111;(2) the Meta analysis results show that after treatment period have significant differences,improvement rate,experimental group is better than control group(Z =4.23, P = 0.000),the pain degree of decline,experimental group is as same as control groupz(Z= 0.16, P= 0.873).Because of the heterogeneity inspection according to the results are no heterogeneity,here is no statistical significance after subgroup analysis, therefore,the study have no subgroup analysis;(3)Sensitivity analysis results are stable;(4) the inverted funnel is no significant publication bias.Conclusion:(1) The use of small needle-knife can improve the clinical symptoms of knee osteoarthritis;(2) In the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,have the potential advantages of small needle-knife,need more clinical data further validation.
