We analyzed the scales of nursing home, the baseline data of adminstritive staff, nursing staff and patients, their salary and benefit, the willingness and affecting factors for the elderly care with SPSS18.0. Results:Results show: In some ways, the patients who suffer stroke need others’ attendence in their daily lives. Patients’ psychological situation will change differently, getting anxious or depressive in some degree. Most of the female patients are in their 60 s years. Self-care degree is not only related with the degree of disease, but also with the caring groups and their family conditions. The care from the patiients family members is better than that it from their neighbours obviously. Under the influence of tradional ideas, economic factors and the services in the nursing home, although most of the patients need others’ care, the occupancy rate in the nursing home is low. Most people hope our government could improve the policies and conditions of the nursing facilities and establish some nursing homes which our ordinary people can afford,.The survey shows, conditions in the nursing home are different, managers and the caring people are lack of prefessional knowledge, nursing people are older relatively and lower in their payment, and need graded patients’ nursing according to their conditions. Conclusion:Based on the results of the survey, we suggest: 1. Using the media to lead the ways to support the old people properly; 2. Managing the care facilities, grading the cares for stroke patients professionally; 3. Establishing the file management of stroke patients by making use of the community health- service institutions; 4. Increasing the investment in old-age care institutions and the subsidies from the government; 5. With the help of the social communities, try our best to help the eldly in the nursing homes to solve their mental problems. Based on the communities, with the assistence of old- age home and institutional pension, we should make long-term care polices, which the communities and nursing agencies can also refer to in their management, to provide a theoretical basis for national long-term care policy of the disability groups. |
