Objective By testing the influences of rhodiola joint seabuckthorn on liver functions and liver hydroxyproline levels of CCl4 induced hepatocirrhosis rats to clarify the effect of rhodiola joint seabuckthorn on liver fibrosis. Methods 70 male SD rats were randomly divided into Rhodiola rosea(H), Hippophae rhamnoides Linn(S), the combination of drugs is low(D), medium(Z) and high(G) dose group, model control group(M), normal control group(C) and 10 rats in each group. Except group C as a normal blank control, other groups were given subcutaneous injections with CCL4 to make liver fibrosis models. Start to be lavaged with drug after 4 weeks and spent eight weeks. HE staining was used to observe the liver tissue pathology. Enzyme rate method and colorimetric method were respectively to check liver function and biochemical indexes, liver Hyp level. Results Compared with group C, M group showed that values of serum AST, ALT, ALP were increased(P < 0.05) and TP, Alb,G were decreased(P < 0.05). The content of Hyp was increased(P < 0.05). Compared with group M,the values of AST, ALT, ALP, Hyp in Group H, S, D, Z and G group were lower(P < 0.05), and TP, Alb,G were elevated(P < 0.05). compared with Group D, the values of AST, ALT, ALP, Hyp in Group H, S,Z,G were lower(P < 0.05), TP, Alb,G were elevated(P < 0.05). By observing histopathologic slice ation, fibrosis change was evident in group M, including diffuse fatty degeneration, necrosis of liver cells, inflammatory cells infiltratio,connective tissue hyperplasia and disorganized hepatocyte article and the structure of hepatic lobule was not obvious. These changes reduced in drug group. The G group changed remarkably. Conclusion 1. Rhodiola rosea joint seabuckthorn can significantly improve the liver function of liver fibrosis in rats induced by CCl4 and have the effect that protect liver function. 2. Rhodiola rosea joint seabuckthorn can significantly reduce the level of liver hydroxyproline, reduce the degree of liver fibrosis, which indicates rhodiola joint seabuckthorn can improve liver fibrosis lesions and have the effect that protects liver function. |
