Objective To evaluate the influence of local intralesional diprospan injection combined with conventional interventional modalities on the systemic inflammatory response and local tissue damagein of patients with benign central airway stenosis.Method Twelve patients with benign central airway stenosis from our hospital between March 2013 and November 2014 were enrolled in this study. They were averagely divided into experimental group and control group. Local intralesional diprospan injection was used with conventional interventional modalities in the experimental group. However, the control group was treated just with conventional interventional modalities. After about a week,s time, compared to before and after the treatment of the content of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-10 in the serum, the amount of the TGF-β1 and collagenous fiber, evaluated its effect.Result(1)①TNF-αlevel in the serum of the experimental group obviously arised on the first day(100.98±23.02)after the treatment, then dropped to 73.15±18.55 on the third day,and continuously declined to 53.65±20.92 on the fifth day, which was close to the level of pre-treatment(49.90±14.57)(P>0.05).②TNF-α level in the serum of the control group remarkably rised up to 112.35±20.24 on the first day after the treatment, then dropped to 87.38±19.85 on the third day,and continuously declined to 65.91±19.07 on the fifth day, which was still higher than that of pretreament(52.53±12.08)(P<0.05).(2) ① IL-6 level in the serum of the experimental group obviously rised up to 46.87±4.79 on the first day after the treatment, then dropped to 30.63±2.20 on the third day, which was close to the level of pre-treatment(25.85±4.92)(P>0.05),and continuously declined to 25.50±3.34 on the fifth day, which was also close to that of pre-treatment(P<0.05).②IL-6 level in the serum of the control group arised on the first day(61.66±13.69)after the treatment, then dropped to 43.59±8.86 on the third day, which was higher than that of pre-treatment(29.58±5.02)(P<0.05),and continuously declined to 34.07±3.88 on the fifth day, which was close to thelevel of pre-treatment(P>0.05).(3) ① IL-10 level in the serum of the experimental group rised up to 41.14±6.45 on the first day after the treatment, then dropped to 27.83±4.00 on the third day,and continuously declined to 19.71±2.56 on the fifth day, which was close to the level of pre-treatment(18.25±4.21)(P>0.05).②IL-10 level in the serum of the control group arised on the first day(39.19±7.52)after the treatment, then dropped to 29.79 ±7.66 on the third day,and continuously declined to 23.31±4.10 on the fifth day, which was close to the level of pre-treatment(21.78±6.65)(P>0.05).(4)After the treatment,AOD of the TGF-β1 in the tissue increased significantly(P<0.05)in experimental group a week later, whereas declined significantly(P<0.01) in control group.(5)After the treatment,IOD of the fibrotic markers in the tissues of the control group increased significantly(P < 0.05)a week later, however, without significance(P >0.05)in experimental group. Conclusion Local intralesional diprospan injection can reduce the content of TNF-α and IL-6 in the serum, but can not increase the content of IL-10 in the serum. Local intralesional diprospan injection can inhibit the expression of TGF-β1 of local tissue, thus decline collagenous fiber in local tissues to some extent.
