Objective:1. To explore the influence factors of Generalized Anxiety Disorder.2. To discover the effects of group psychological intervention of self-confidence on improving the Generalized Anxiety Disorder; and to provide a new perspective for the clinical treatment of Generalized Anxiety Disorder.Object:1. Investigation research: 200 people participated in this investigation. 100 patients with generalized anxiety disorder, 100 cases of normal control cases. patients with GAD all come from hospital outpatient, inpatient, normal controls come from students, families of hospital patients in both groups.2. Intervention research: Under the guidance of psychiatrists,according to the group order,The 70 patients were randomly divided into experimental and control groups.The control group was given conventional anti anxiety routine drug treatment, the experimental group was given conventional anti anxiety, according to the characteristics of the psychological status of the patients with targeted self-confidence training group Intervention.Method:1. Investigation research: The persons being investigated were assessed with the general situation questionnaire, Self Esteem Scale(SES), Fear of Negative EvaluationScale(FNE), Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire(SCSQ), Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS),which is to explore the social psychology factors of generalized anxiety disorder.2. Intervention research: The experimental group were given drug therapy combined with self-confidence group psychological treatment, every 120 minutes, five consecutive weeks, a total of 10 times; The control group was given conventional anti anxiety routine drug treatment, but in the week after the end of the experiment, its targeted counseling. The scales were assessed to discuss the effect of self-confidence group psychological intervention in improving generalized anxiety disorder symptoms regard..3. Statistical methods: Independent samples t test, chi-square test, correlation and regression were calculated to analysis the result of psychological test. Independent samples t test, statistical methods for repeated measures were applied to analysis the effect of psychological intervention.Result:1. Chi-square test: Use Self-made demographic questionnaire as a tool to collect the demographic factors. Gender, the family educational style and GAD were significantly associated(χ2=6.869, p<0.05; χ2=21.411, p<0.01).The marital status(χ2=0.678, p>0.05),the educational level(χ2=1.767, p>0.05), the economic status with GAD were not significantly(χ2=1.362, p>0.05).2. T test results: The difference of self-esteem(t=8.011, p<0.05), the coping styles(t=6.480, p<0.05);(t=-1.990,p<0.05), the social support level(t=7.477, p<0.05) the fear of negative evaluation(t=-3.525, p<0.05),are significant between two groups.3. Correlation analysis results: The anxiety scores and a variety of psychological and social factors in anxiety disorder patients were correlated. the self-esteem, the fear of negative evaluation, the active coping,the social support were significantly correlated with GAD.4. The multivariate Logistic regression results:Among the variables, sex, the parenting style, self-esteem, the fear of negative evaluation, coping styles, social support factors are the main factors. Among women(OR = 3.381), the family educational style(OR = 1.820),high fear negative(OR = 1.113), the negative coping style(OR = 2.920) were risk factors for GAD; and self-esteem(OR = 0.075), the positive coping(OR = 0.070), social support system(OR = 0.874) were protective factors for GAD.5. The end of the intervention the experimental group was significantly different from the pretest in self-esteem, positive styles, the fear of negative,the social support level. The ANOVA showed that:the experimental group in the anxiety scores,self-esteem,positive styles, the fear of negative, the social support better than the control group.Conclusion:1. Generalized Anxiety Disorder is caused by a variety of social and psychological factors, Patients with Generalized Anxiety Disorder have low self- esteem, the fear of negative evaluation, the negative coping styles, the poor social support system.2. Sex(female> male), the family educational styles(authoritarian), self-esteem, fear of negative evaluation, the positive coping style and the social support are the main factors of Generalized Anxiety Disorder.3. The Self-confidence group intervention have obvious effect to improve the anxiety symptoms and related problems on GAD patients. The Self-confidence group intervention can be used as a reference Generalized Anxiety Disorder clinical psychotherapy.
