Objective: This study was designed to explore the safety 、feasibility and clinical effect of vaginal myomectomy in basic level hospital. Methods: Based on clinical data were retrospectively analyzed, collected in May 2008 to May 2013 in the dingtao county people’s hospital in 60 cases of hospitalized patients with uterine fibroids out as the research object, is divided into Yin type and abdominal group, each group 30 cases, including fertility requirement, 20 cases of the observation of two groups of patients is comparative analysis. Results :The operation time of vaginal group(70.2±18.5) min, bleeding volume(110.3±20.2) m L, recurrence rate of 22% after operation, compared with abdominal group, there was no significant difference(P>0.05). Yin group, the postoperative hospital stay, postoperative anus exhaust time were( 5.1±1.4) d,( 17.8±4. 6) h, significantly shorter in abdominal group(7.5±2.2),(30.5±5.4 h), the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). The maximum body temperature(37.8±0.9) in the vaginal group was lower than that in the abdominal group(38.5±1.1), and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The pregnancy rate of the vaginal group was 75% higher than that of the abdominal group 60%, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The total cost of hospitalization in the vaginal group(5112.8±196.6) was slightly higher than that in the abdominal group(4825.6±246.8), but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion: Vaginal myomectomy is a safe 、feasible 、economical and effective microinvasive operation. It is worth of all levels of hospital development.
