The Clinical Effects Of Hui Medicine Massage Technique In Treating Cervical Spondylosis Of Neck Type

Objective To observe Hui Medicine Massage Technique in treating cervical spondylosis of neck type by Randomized controlled trials on the clinical effectsMethod Study was designed as a multi-center, randomized controlled trial, Pick 200 Cervical Spondylosis patients, then divide them into experimental group and control group randomly with 100 patients in each group. The experimental group will be treated with Hui Medicine Massage Technique, while the control group will be treated with Traditional Chinese Massage therapy. Take sign score of clinical symptoms、pain score of VAS, score of life quality and after treatment clinical efficacy scale tables to do efficacy evaluation both before treatment and after treatment.Result 1. Efficacy evaluation: The experimental group got a 100% effective rate, while the control group got a 99% effective rate. there was no statistical significance between 2 groups(P>0.05). However, the experimental group had a 58% cure rate, while the control group had a 30% cure rate. There was an obvious difference in two groups about the cure rate(P<0.05). 2. Sign score of symptoms: There was statistical significance before and after treatment of 2 groups in improvement of headache integral, neck and arms pain integral, cervical motion integral, paravertebral pressing pain integral(P<0.01); There was no statistical significance between 2 groups in difference after treatment of headache pain integral(P>0.05); There was statistical significance between 2 groups in difference after treatment of neck and arms pain integral, cervical motion integral, paravertebral pressing pain integral(P<0.05).at the same time, the experimental group had a better improvement degree than control group. 3. Score of life quality : Two groups compared with themselves before and after treatment, they all got obvious improvement(P<0.01), and the experimental group got a higher score than the control group after the treatments(P<0.05). 4. Score of VAS:The experimental group’s and the control group’s treatment both could lower the VAS figures before treatment of the patients. The experimental group had a further degree than the control group and obvious difference in VAS improvement(P<0.05).Conclusion Hui Medicine Massage Technique has an obvious efficacy in curing Neck Type Cervical Spondylosis. It does better in relieve sign symptoms、relieve pain、improve life quality than Traditional Massage Therapy. So it is worth to be promoted to use.
