Therapeutic Effect Observation And Experimental Study Of Electric Acupuncture On Serious Functional Constipation

Objectives:Observing the clinical therapeutic effects of electric acupuncture on patients with serious functional constipation Through the experiment research to study the effect and mechanism of electric acupuncture on FC.Methods:1.Clinical observation:40 cases of severe patients with functional constipation curative therapy.Acupoint selection:tianshu,fujie,shangjuxu.Treatment for eight weeks. The first two weeks treatment 5 times a week.The following 6 weeks treatment 3 times a week, and during the treatment of retaining needle 30 minutes every time.Records daily defecation diary card,To compare CSBM、BRISTOL 、 PAC-QOL Before and after treatment。Evaluation the quality of patients life.Testing serum contents of VIP and SP of patients.2.Experimental study :set up Functional constipation model on 32 SPF rats.After the treatment,To observe the change of the rats,detect the first black grain time and Ink advance degree. Testing serum contents of VIP and MD.Resut:Clinical observation results:1.Comparison of therapeutic effect:40 cases of severe patients with functional constipation curative therapy.35 cases of patients cured,accounted for 87.5%.3 cases of patients improvement, accounted for 7.5%.2cases of patients ineffective, accounted for 5.0%.total effective rate was 95.0%.2.Comparing Each observation indexes, the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05). after the electric acupuncture treatment, patients with constipation condition improved, the effect of EA foe FC is remarkable.3.Comparing visit 2 period, visit 1 period is reduced with PAC- QOL scores.the statistic difference was significant(p<0.05). Comparing visit 3 period, visit 1 period is reduced with PAC-QOL scores,the statistic difference was significant(p<0.05). At the end of the treatment, the patients life quality improved obviously.4.VIP content in serum after treatment compared with before treatment,the statistic difference was significant(p<0.05). SP content in serum after treatment compared with before treatment,the statistic difference was significant(p<0.05).5.Evaluation on safety index:in the process of treatment,Patients were able to tolerate.No case discontinued the treatment because of serious adverse reactions.Experimental study results:1.Compared with model group,the time of black grain of Electric acupuncture group and the sham group was significantly shortened(P<0.05).the ink advance degree of electric acupuncture group and sham group was significantly reduced(P<0.05).Compared with shamgroup,the time of black grain of Electric acupuncture group was significantly shortened(P < 0.05).the ink advance degree of electric acupuncture group was significantly reduced(P<0.05).2. Serum contents of VIP and MD: Compared with model group,the Serum contents of VIP and VIP MD of electric acupuncture group and sham group was significantly reduced(P<0.05).Compared with sham group,the he Serum contents of VIP and VIP MD of electric acupuncture group was significantly reduced(P<0.05).Conclusions:1. Electric acupuncture is one of the effective method to treat severe functional constipation. Electric acupuncture treatment effect is better than sham electric acupuncture treatment. electric acupuncture can improve the symptoms of patients with constipation, improve the quality of life of patients, It is worth clinical promotion.2.After treatment the patients serum VIP levels reduced, content of SP increased. after sham electric acupuncture and electric acupuncture treatment, the serum VIP levels and VIP MD reduced. It suggested that one of the mechanism of action of electric acupuncture in the treatment of FC may be by impacting the content of VIP and SP. Plasma VIP and SP content can be used as reference index of curative effect evaluation.
