Objective: The clinical data from patients with thyroid surgery accept were analyzed to identify factors low PTH and further discuss how to protect the parathyroid glands during surgery. Methods: A retrospective analysis of patients with thyroid Neck Surgery, Henan Tumor Hospital in March 2013 to February 2014 were treated thyroid surgery, a total of 194 cases. Patients collected the following information: gender, age, surgical procedure, preoperative PTH, calcium preoperative and postoperative PTH, calcium surgery, disease(pathology), with or without postoperative hypocalcemia symptoms. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS16.0 software grouped. Results: PTH levels decreased in patients with a total of 158 cases of 194 cases of postoperative patients, including 53 cases of low PTH; lower blood calcium levels in patients with a total of 190 cases of postoperative, including 146 cases of hypocalcemia. Symptoms in patients with postoperative hypocalcemia has 38 cases. Statistical analysis showed that almost all patients undergoing thyroid surgery have postoperative PTH, serum calcium levels decreased to varying degrees. Surgical postoperative PTH, calcium reduces impact, surgical approach, the double lobectomy than single lobectomy, postoperative PTH, serum calcium levels to reduce the probability of large; age, disease postoperative PTH, blood no effect on reducing calcium; gender reduce postoperative PTH seems a bit role, but had no effect on reducing postoperative serum calcium levels. Surgical postoperative low PTH, hypocalcemia occurred influential, surgical approach, the double than single lobectomy lobectomy, postoperative low PTH, the probability of occurrence of large hypocalcemia, age, gender, disease for surgery low PTH, did not affect the incidence of hypocalcemia. Postoperative PTH, serum calcium levels decrease universal, certainly can not predict the occurrence of postoperative hypocalcemia symptoms, postoperative hypocalcemia symptoms did not occur can not believe that some do not PTH, serum calcium levels decrease occurred. Hypocalcemia symptoms appear to have lower levels of PTH reminder, regardless of whether the emergence of symptoms of hypocalcemia, postoperative serum calcium levels decrease seems to be common. Postoperative hypocalcemia symptoms of low PTH, the occurrence of hypocalcemia reminder. Conclusions: 1 PTH, serum calcium levels drop after thyroid surgery universal PTH lower serum calcium greater than the decrease in the probability; 2 Surgical postoperative PTH, lower calcium levels and postoperative low PTH, low. the occurrence of calcium influential, the greater the extent of surgery, postoperative PTH, lower calcium levels and postoperative low PTH, the greater the probability of occurrence of hypocalcemia; 3 Types of disease after PTH, serum calcium reduction and postoperative low PTH, did not affect the incidence of hypocalcemia, gender reduce postoperative PTH seems a bit role, but had no effect on reducing postoperative serum calcium levels, while low postoperative PTH, the incidence of hypocalcemia have no impact. |
