| Objective: To study of osteoporotic vertebral body rabbits local injection of the early effects of zoledronic acid.Methods: 24 6-month-old female New Zealand White rabbits with bilateral ovariectomy to build models of osteoporosis, low calcium diet three months later, the line of dual energy X-ray absorptiometry scan, detect bone density, osteoporosis model confirmed success. The osteoporosis model New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into treatment group(A) and control group(group B), each 12, each group was divided into three groups. Treatment group(A1, A2, A3 group) in rabbits injected 4th lumbar vertebrae zoledronic acid 1mg, bone wax closure, the control group(B1, B2, B3 group) surgery exposes the 4th lumbar puncture success is not in the same way injection, suture. Postoperative normal feeding, the animals were observed in general. All data were analyzed using statistical software SPSS17.0.Results: 12 weeks after ovariectomy, bone density scans showed osteoporosis animal model of success. Zoledronic acid 4 weeks after local injection of rabbits vertebrae, X-ray shows that with the duration of treatment, the film high brightness area, the more obvious the more widely distributed area, while the control group, on the contrary; Staining showed that the experimental group than in the control group of the thickness of cortical bone, trabecular bone density, trabecular bone than in the control group increased the number of trabecular bone evenly distributed than in the control group, The difference was statistically significant(P <0.05). Micro-CT analysis showed that the treatment group, trabecular thickness(Tb.Th), trabecular bone number(Tb.N), the relative bone volume(BV / TV) was significantly higher, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05), surface to volume ratio and trabecular bone than the control group; 8 weeks after injection, the effect is more obvious, is still valid until 12 weeks, there are statistically significant differences(P <0.05). At different periods, the treatment group(A) of the trabecular thickness, trabecular bone number, apparent bone density, relative bone volume was significantly higher(group B).Conclusion: osteoporotic vertebral single injection of zoledronic acid may promote rapid changes in cortical and trabecular bone formation, improve bone microstructure, improve bone strength, as clinically localized treatment of osteoporosis and osteoporotic fractures A new method for the treatment of clinically localized bone to provide experimental evidence loose. |
