The Research On The Appropriate TCM Rehabilitation Technology To Improve Motion Function Recovery Of Community Stroke

Objective: With the intervention of appropriate TCM technology, the thesis research on the recovery effect of appropriate TCM on the community stoke patients.Methods: 200 cases of community stroke patients were randomly divided into the control group(100 cases)and the treatment group(100 cases).The Treatment group receives Appropriate rehabilitation treatment and regulatory TCM rehabilitation treatment including acupuncture, moxibustion, fumigation, early bedside rehabilitation intervention, physical therapy inhibit spasm and maintain joint mobility,ability of daily living training, regular home visits, psychological therapy and rehabilitation guidance etc. The Control group receives conventional rehabilitation treatment. Two groups of patients were performed 12 weeks of treatment, and then there is observation of 200 cases’ simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function score(FMA),modified Ashworth spasticity scale(MAS), Barther index(BI) score changes before and after 12 weeks and then compared.Results: After receiving Appropriate TCM Rehabilitation Treatment,the treatment group get the following change within 12 weeks : Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment(54.68 ± 13.19), Barther index(BI)(63.75 ± 10.03)were higher than those before treatment, Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment(35.16 ± 13.19),Barther index(BI)(39.25 ± 15.99). The difference was statistically significant(p<0.01). FMA score and BI score are significantly improved after treatment. That means the patient’s limb motor function and quality of life improved significantly.The modified Ashworth spasticity scale grade distribution gets obvious improve after treatment, which has suggested that patients’ spasticity significantly mitigate.After receiving conventional rehabilitation treatment, The control group got the following changes within 12 weeks : before and after treatment is as follows:Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment(32.85±15.42) and BI(37.45±15.48)before treatment while after treatment Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment(34.30±15.01) and BI(41.75±14.30)The difference was statistically significant(p<0.01). This shows that conventional rehabilitation treatment is helpful to community stroke patients recovery. But the helpful effect of treatment group is better than that of control group. The modified Ashworth spasticity scale grade distribution of control group has improved after treatment. The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05). However, the efficacy of treatment group is better than that of control group.The difference before and after treatment between Treatment group and control group was not statistically significant(p> 0.05), However, the change after 12 weeks of treatment is as follows: After treatment, the treatment group Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment(34.30 ± 15.01), Barther index(BI)(41.75 ± 14.30), which is higher than that of control group after treatment Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment(32.85 ± 15.42), Barther index(BI)(37.45 ± 15.48). The difference was statistically significant(p <0.01). After treatment, FMA score, BI scores of treatment group were significantly higher than that of control group after treatment, indicating that appropriate Chinese medicine rehabilitation programs has a significant effect.Compared with control group, the modified Ashworth spasticity scale grade distribution of treatment group after treatment improves significantly. The difference was statistically significant(p<0.01). It showed appropriate Chinese medicine rehabilitation treatment program is significantly effective.Conclusion: Appropriate Chinese Medicine rehabilitation treatment has significant improve on the function recovery of the stroke patients in the following ways: ① Improve the motor function in patients with stroke. ② Improve stroke patient’s activities of daily living. ③Reduce stroke patients’ Modified Ashworth spasticity grade distribution.
