The Treatment Experience Of Professor Zhou Cuiying In Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Based On Data Mining

Objective:The study was aimed at analyzing the treatment experience of Professor Zhou Cuiying in systemic lupus erythematosus with data mining technique, and extraction of commonly used drug. Data mining took an important part in the experience successions of famous doctors of Chinese medicine.Method:The data was based on collecting the systemic lupus erythematosus medical records from Professor Huang of Shandong hospital of TCM.The TCM inheritance support system software was inputted information and builded the database. The common used herbs were based on analysis of the frequency. The key herbs was found by association rules between all the groups and stages. The new developed prescription was concluded by complex system entropy clustering.Results:1.Based on the analysis of 270 prescriptions, the frequency of the symptoms and the TCM syndrome types, the commonly used herbs were computed, as follow: The frequency of symptoms before 10: facial erythema, fatigue,hair loss, jointpain, rash, raynaud’s phenomenon, palpitation, edema, spontaneous, dry mouth. TCM Syndrome Types:liver and kidney syndrome, up to the standard empirical treating heat stagnation syndrome. the commonly used herbs: honeysuckle, dogwood, red peony root, wolfberry fruit, root, tree peony bark, yam, licorice, diffusa, white peony root. Four gas analysis of drugs: warm(1501), cold(1085). Gomi analysis of drugs: sweet medicine(2429). Meridian analysis of drugs: liver(2053), kidney(1558), spleen(1199).2. The key herbs was found by association rules between all the groups and stages, the number was set to support 54(20% support), the confidence level of 0.95. Getting 24 taste key drugs: honeysuckle, moutan, red peony, licorice, angelica, root, white peony root, licorice, burnet, diffusa, astragalus, wolfberry fruit, ligustrum lucidum, schisandra, gorgon, dogwood, dodder, yam, laevigata, rehmannia, agrimony, eclipta, madder, poria.3. Based on the complex system entropy cluster analysis, the 42 core conclusions which contain 3 to 4 herbs, and 6 new developed prescriptions were concluded.The six new prescriptions show as follow: radix, heterophylla, coke hawthorn, semen, guanzhong; rehmannia, madder, yam, diffusa, medlar, burnet, agrimony; rehmannia, licorice, moutan, white peony root, ligustrum, schisandra; angelica root, comfrey, laevigata, gorgon; yiyiren, dogwood, turmeric, polyporus, gallus gallus; plantago, poria, cinnamon, arecae.Conclusion:Based on the analysis of Prof. Zhou’s clinical medication, the chief herbs and the treatment principle used by Prof. Zhou in systemic lupus erythematosus treatment. The main use of drugs: tonic, antipyretic, astringent medicine, and blood circulation drugs; Treatment methods: liver and kidney tonic, heat and cooling blood. Based on the analysis of TCM medical records by data mining, we can obtain experience from physicians of TCM form multi-angle and more objective.It is a better guiding for clinical work.
