Objectives:By exploring the TCM syndrome type distribution of children with infectious atelectasis, provide the basis for clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment. Methods:On the basis of reviewing related articles and combining with the clinical features of pulmonary atelectasis in children, formulate the TCM symptoms questionnaire and collect the TCM four diagnostic information of 100 children with infectious atelectasis, then build Data Base, perform the statistical analysis by using the SPSS17.0 statistical software to formulate the syndrome type of TCM.Results: ①In general, the average age of 100 cases is 5.7±3.17 years old,the age group of 3-7 years old accounts for the most;there is no differences between male and female;the average course is 19.8±15.2 day,2 weeks to 1 month accounts for the largest proportion;the main pathogens are Mycoplasma pneumoniae,EB virus and Streptococcus pneumoniae.②The common TCM syndrome types of infectious atelectasis are:Phlegm retention in the lung syndrome, dampness and heat in lung syndrome, phlegm heat obstructing the lung syndrome, lung and spleen qi deficiency syndrome, deficiency of lung heat syndrome.③Analysis of related factors:The phlegm retention in the lung syndrome is more common in female patients,Lung and spleen qi deficiency syndrome is more common in young children, and the younger the more easier to appear,Phlegm heat obstructing the lung syndrome is more common in short duration, deficiency of lung heat syndrome is more common in Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection,Lung and spleen Qi Deficiency Syndrome is more common in Viral infection, dampness and heat in lung syndrome is more common in bacterial infection, however children with mixed infection perform phlegm heat obstructing the lung syndrome more;Lung and spleen qi deficiency syndrome is more common in whoseprimary disease is asthma complicated with infection, and phlegm heat obstructing the lung syndrome is more common in atelectasis with single lobe being involved. Conclusion:The common TCM syndrome types of children with infectious atelectasis are:Phlegm retention in the lung syndrome, dampness and heat in lung syndrome, phlegm heat obstructing the lung syndrome, lung and spleen qi deficiency syndrome, deficiency of lung heat syndrome. Syndromes are related with sex, age, course of disease, pathogen, primary disease and he number of affected lobe.
