| Objective: To study the expressions of CD4 + T, CD8 + T in Hashimoto’s thyroiditis(HT) with Papillary thyroid cancer(PTC) and understand the differences between simple PTC and HT coexisted with PTC by the difference of clinical pathological parameters such as age, sex, tumor size, capsular invasion multiple lesions, lymph node metastasis and histological grade, so as to explore possible relationships between HT and PTC.Methods: 80 patients underwent surgical treatment of patients with thyroid disease, including HT, PTC, HT with PTC and nodular goiter all 20 cases. Detect the expressions of CD4 + T and CD8 + T in these samples by immunohistochemical technique. And the patients’ age, sex, tumor size, capsular invasion multiple lesions, lymph node metastasis and histological grade were analyzed respectively in HT coexisted with PTC and simple PTC group, to understand the association between simple PTC, PTC merger HT and itsResults:(1). CD4 + T, CD8 + T cell count and CD4+/CD8+ ratio of expression is significantly different in the HT group, PTC merger HT, simple PTC group and in nodular goiter group(p<0.05);(2). CD4 + T, CD8 + T cell count of expression is significantly different in the HT coexisted with PTC group and simple PTC group(p<0.05);CD4+/CD8+ ratio is no significant difference(p> 0.05);(3). CD4 +, CD8 + T lymphocytes are significantly increased and their ratios are significantly lower in the HT group, PTC merger HT group than nodular goiter group, and the number of immune cells and their ratios between in the two groups are not statistically significant(p>0.05);(4). CD4+/CD8+ ratio with capsular invasion, multiple lesions, lymph nodemetastasis in PTC is statistically significant(p <0.05); the CD8 positive in infiltrating lymphocytes is positively correlated with capsular invasion(p<0.05);And above all, whether the merger HT is no significant correlation.(5). There is no significant difference between PTC complicated with HT and simple PTC group in various clinical pathological parameters, suggesting that whether PTC combined with HT has no significant relationship with the prognosis.Conclusion:(1). The occurrence of PTC and PTC merger HT may be related to abnormal immune status in the body;(2). There is a similarity between PTC merged HT group and HT group, This may be reasons that PTC is prone to HT;(3). When the CD4+/CD8+ ratio is abnormal, PTC is prone to capsular invasion, multiple lesions and lymph node metastasis; CD4 + T lymphocyte count changes are correlated with capsular invasion. |
