Under the background of global warming, Nanjing become a city with frequent occurrence of heat waves and it has a great influence on patients with cardiovascular disease. Insofar as it can be ascertained, most researchers use the statistical method of epidemiology but the specific influencing mechanism is still short of trial proofs and profound discussions. The study of heat wave are limited in the process of the continuous high temperature heat. For this reason, based on statistical analysis of Nanjing historical meteorological data combined with population death data, we can get the characteristics of the heat waves influence on cardiovascular disease. On this basis, simulate a typical weather process by using a meteorological simulator based on animal experiment, objective to investigate the effecting mechanism of heat wave inducing and worsening cardiovascular disease. This article main research conclusion is as follows:(1) There were eight heat waves during 2005 to 2008. Among them, the continuous high temperature heat waves happened four times, the heat waves with Strong cooling also happened four times. The influence of the illness and death of the cerebrovascular disease in the elderly is significant. Died of coronary heart disease and cerebral infarction people occupy larger proportion.(2) By thermal stimulation in mice, rectal temperature, HSP60, TNF-a and sICAM-1 of Apo E Knockout Mice rose significantly. High temperature makes the inflammation in the body to strengthen could be one inducement of that the heat wave increase the risk of cardiovascular disease.(3) Thermal stimulation may aggravate atherosclerosis disease development. The process of Strong Cooling may greatly increase the risk of coronary heart disease.
