Colorectal stromal tumor were usually occult in onset and lack of characteristic clinical symptoms, Main complain involved changes of defecation habitã€fecal property, abdominal discomfort and bloody stool.Pathology examination under light microscope showed more for spindle cells, beam or weave pattern; immunohistochemical staining showed high CD117and CD34positive expression rate. the results of follow-up showed that recurrence rates of high risk patients with complete resection lesions were significantly higher (P=0.018), disease-free survival time were significantly shorter (P=0.011) than that in other patients. Conclusion:Immunohistochemical staining was a reliable way to identify colorectal stromal tumor. A complete resection surgery was the best; Local resection was preferred in extremely low and low risk patients; radical resection was suggested in intermediate risk patients. The prognosis of high risk patients with surgery alone was poorer, which should be given a complete resection surgery combined imatinib therapy etc. comprehensive treatment. Regular physical examination, early diagnosis and periodic review were the important methods for colorectal stromal tumor patients who obtained long-term disease-free survival time. | Keywords/Search Tags: | colorectal stromal tumors, Colorectal surgery, prognosis | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
